"Mech Tanker vs Mage" freshly uploaded
First off: How's everyone been? Hope you're ok physically as well as mentally considering the pandemic and state of affairs. For me the primary job I've got has had me working 'dynamic' schedules, lots of changes no real stability. Classic retail right? Short staffed, low on help, high on stress and the work doesn't let up. Takes a toll mentally. Talked to my boss, he hired a new guy, we'll see if it pans out, and also worked on the schedule with me. Awesome boss. This means more time for creativity.
I've been channeling every free moment I have into writing a book. Its near and dear to me, its about my two "brain daughters" Yona and Yuno. I've spent years detailing every aspect of them. Every videogame, mmorpg, or anything that lets me create a character, its always those two. Naturally over time they've grown enough to have a life of their own, but this book is to give them a world of their own too.
This song, Mech Tanker vs Mage is my attempt at using the new rock instruments, and trying a slightly different genre than what I've wandered into. (Yet might be a 'back to my roots' thing) I'm trying another instrument that you can't buy or download. Emotions. I want to try to paint a picture without words of this epic battle between a 40 foot tall vertical tank (Mech assault, titan fall, ect.) vs a simple mage, limited only by their imagination for their capabilities. Who wins? Technology or magic?
This song is a tad bit long, I don't know if I'll attempt to sell it, but I could use it as a resume piece if I apply for musician at some videogame company or something. For now, music is second priority to the book, yet both are constantly on my mind. I have no intention to become a writer, just this one and done.
