Greetings and I hope you're all having a great weekend. I'm fiddling around in my office again. Yes, I have more new tracks although I'm not ready to publish any snippets yet. By snippets, I mean projects that I've completed, but not studio recorded yet (four more of them). I'm traveling on and off for the next few months so scheduling studio time is going to get interesting. I'm looking for a good engineer in San Antonio or Dallas, so dope me a note if you have a recommendation?
Happy New Year, if I haven't messaged you yet :-). I can be a busy body from time to time, but I jumped into my office to play around with some sounds. I wrote a new song and would love a little feedback. My Disclaimer: 'Do You Need Me,' my latest uploaded song is NOT studio recorded, which means it's just me singing in my office, no filter, no engineer, and not mastered.
I'm digging through my archives, my body of works, recordings; some of them 10 + years old, when I find 'Love Hate.' I wrote this song while going through a few personal dilemmas. I happen to be working out in LA at the time. I hit a few studios, but did all of my recordings in Covina. I'd taken the day for a long motorcycle ride out on San Angeles crest, made it back to my personal studio and picked-up this beat I'd worked on a few days before. A sip of one of my favorite aged whiskey's, and the beat drops...
My favorite lyric of this song: "Baby, I still need your soul to hold on to. Yea, I do, baby."
Greetings my friends! Thanks for listening. I greatly appreciate your time. I decided to release another draft/pre-record version of a new piece I'll add to the After Dark album. This so is call 'So Special' and I originally wrote the song in 2006 with the bass and chord produced by D Williams, of Chicago. I toyed around with the E Guitar, and realized the idea needed no more than this final arrangement. Check it out?
My favorite lyric of this song: "Woke up this morning with love on my mind, 'cause I know that I fell asleep with you last night."
