Hey Y'all,
In November of last year, I learned that I had prostate cancer.
At the beginning of the year, I had prostate surgery, followed by a slow healing period.
After that, I start walking three to five miles a day to get my stamina back.
Life continued, and my first PSA (prostate specific antigen) is undetectable. That's a good thing.
Hazzah!
Three months later, and my next PSA is point zero one. Not a big leap, but, my doctor wanted to smack it hard before it proved to be a problem.
Next came two months of radiation. Yeah, five days a week of being irradiated. Fun.
I couldn't feel anything during the sessions that only lasted seven minutes per visit, but, it left me more exhausted than I've ever felt. EVER.
Now, I'm done being irradiated, and trying to build my stamina up again. My old body says: "weren't we just working on this?" And my brain says "yeah, but what else are we gonna do?"
Well, lately, I've been working on new music. I've written or started several new songs and, in fact, just started a new one few days ago. I'm also remodeling my studio and gearing up to start on a new recording project.
Lastly, plans are being made to shoot the video for a future Indiegogo campaign.
Please pray for me while I keep pushing forward
Later Y'all.
Leigh
