Lee Carlos Alston, Sr. is of GullahGeechee descent. I am from the Brunswick/St. Simon's Island areas which places my roots as Sea Island Creole. In 1694, two cousins named John Alston settled in North Carolina. At the time they owned the largest number of slaves. Slaves were often moved around quite often thus placing my ancestors to be owned other slave owners across the colonies in the south. I am proud of my Gullah heritage and passionately pour my soul into creating the lyrical motifs that many of you listen to here on https://n1m.com/leealston daily. I am an award winning multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and audio engineer with over 30 plus years experience. I produce music compositions in various genres such as Latin, Country, Gospel, Hip-hop, R&B, Soul, Rock, Classical, Spoken Word, Jazz, and Holistic Music. I obtained my first job in broadcasting as an audio engineer and master control operator for KITU-TV 34, Orange, Texas in 2000. I became a member of
The Society of Broadcast Engineers in 2000 after completing and passing the audio engineering test. I also received my certification as a master control operator. I've produced music scores for feature films for Lion's Den Worldwide Entertainment, Australia from 2017 to 2020. In April 2021, I launched my new radio station SolePowaMuzik Radio on link as a platform in order to promote my music career and also provide a means to help bring transparency to other non-profit organizations, book authors, artists, poets, musicians, and independent business persons. In 2021, I became a member of The International Singer-Songwriters Association. January 2022, I became a member of Melody Nest which is a platform geared to helping me gain more potential clients as I promote my freelancing services as a music producer, multi-instrumentalist, and audio recording engineer at link in order to view my extensive music business credentials. February 8, 2022, I will be returning to Let’s Jazz It Up link with radio host Brenda Moss. July 2022, I won a music award for my single 'Soulville, USA' in the Funk/Soul category. July 8, 2022, I performed 'Soulville, USA' on WEHT ABC Channel 25 Eyewitness News, Henderson, Kentucky.
