For this album he wanted to come back to the basics and foundations of the G-Funk sound and enrolled producers Laidback, XL Middleton, D.Wizzy, Droe Jackson, B.Dubb and Ehstar to supply him with the necessary heat for him to deliver his dope lyrics about his life and his aspirations. His very characteristic energetic flow has always the right impact on the different songs that compose this album and the various ambiances set by the beats visit all the different branches that made G-Funk great in the 90s.
The goal of LC on this album as you can hear it was not only to release another G-Funk album, but to set the bar high and deliver to fans a real classic for 2015 that will remind them of the golden area of the west coast music by at the same time staying relevant on delivering dope lyrics.
