ON ITS OWN TERMS THOUGHTFUL AND INFECTIOUS

Helpful

It’s would be easy to dismiss this as repetitive or non melodic to do so you would have to dismiss all of Rap music and say it’s all meaningless, Which of course it’s not meaningless... you don’t have to like this or like Rap or like what I do musically to present a take on a subject like “KEEPING” does. There’s Life... Love... Fear... Materialism and Whatever else we ponder as we go through our lives. What’s important here is the Artists expression and since it’s Laskys Music were looking at with all things being equal it’s pretty darn catchy. I Get the message it may be I get a slightly bent take depending on my experience in this life... but there’s a message and it’s worth repeating hence the repetitive nature of this song and it’s as important as any other message we put forward in our music. It’s not up to us to judge the delivery... I believe this artist is aware of what he has spent a lot of time putting onto tape. I believe he’s asking us to look at the things we keep and surround ourselves with. Lasky Moshe has as the “Artist at work here” he’s asking us to look at the way we get the worlds attention Our Homes Our Cars the image we carry around with us as consumers in this world and as people. Take away what you want from this artist his idea here is reminiscent of Robert Fripp and some similar concepts I’ve heard on his “Exposure” album. A painful album at times and beautifully melodic at others. I have not heard anything else by Lasky Moshe so I’m taking this one at face value... I like progressive music and dabble in it myself at times... I love the rift he’s using repeatedly throughout this piece and I like his take on the subject which is only to ask us to look at ourselves... Nice Work Lasky Moshe it may not be for everyone but for some of us it’s refreshing.

Hi

I like the tune...I feel like some Folk Tune but if You make a improvisation of it will be much better.. or just make it shorter like 1.5 min..as it is now is to long and not much going on .. same motive over and over..I think is ok to play life Concerts but no AM / FM Radio will play it is way to long ( they use 2.5 to 3.5 min long ) as a Music Publishers .. I do not know.. who know what They are looking for.. I just like to know what They will say ..I wish You good luck... Good Job..

Keeping

I am sorry but I found this to be very repetitive. The chant like vocals were not very clear in the mix. It could have done with some light and shade. Maybe a stop in the middle then building up to a crescendo towards the end Also it was too long

I Dig It

Love the melody and rhythm. The synths seem a little to loud and me personally I will always prefer real drums over electronic drums. And I can't tell if there is bass. Bass will always drive the song and make sem more lively. Keep up the good work, you can only get better! Look forward to hearing more of your future songs.

Moving flat beats...

Moving flat beats with a few guitar sounding patterns, bass, kind of keyboards and a voice over it. And the mix is ready. But the mix has some lacks, sometimes the voice is too loud and not perfectly intonated, but charming. But besides that there cool singing phrases and a very cool solo at the end. The production over all could be improved by saturating the lower frequencies and a good monitoring. But there are some cool elements. Get it!

Keep On

I'm alrways interested in hearing new music and how artists are trying to create something new and unique. Elements of different eras come in and influence the final product. The electronic nature of this song I thought would be off putting simply because it's all been done and sounds so programmed. Today there are better ways to use electronics to produce music. However, this is catchy. The vocals are not the best, but the whole package works together. There are a few words which end up ending in "hard R's" and such which are a distraction, but overall I'd listen to this on repeat. Fun.

Keeping it real

Interesting combination of outlaw rock and Israel scales and tones. About 80 percent rock and 20 per ent israely. There are sections that go on and seem a little repetitive. I think a good thirty to fifty seconds could be cut without losing much if anything at all. There are some good parts to the song that add a lot of character and with some changes to the arrangement or flow could really improve the speed at which the song goes by. The mix also needs to be fixed to may great parts of the song are being pushed to far awY from the listener. If it were me i would use the part with background singing twice cut out the excessive hammer on guitar parts and have a solo in the middle and also fade out at the end. Rerecord and find a better mix engineer

KEEPING

I LIKE THE ENERGY OF THE SONG IT IS UPBEAT WITH A STRONG SYNTH LINE THROUGH OUT THE VOCALS ARE ALMOST RAPPING TO A ROCK PLATFORM WHICH IS A RATHER COOL WAY TO GENRE MIX THE PRODUCTION IS WELL THOUGHT OUT AND THERE IS A LOT TO LIKE WITH THIS TRACK ONE MINOR CRITICISM THE LYRICS COULD BE MORE EVENLY PACED THROUGH OUT THE SONG BUT I LIKE THE ORIGINALITY OF THE IDEAS SO ITS EASY TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION HERE

Riff hypnotist

Wow !! What a cool music!! I really liked the musical idea, the progression of harmony, the way the vocals come in, very rhythmic. The keyboard very well used and the energy emanating from this production !! And a very good guitar solo.. I recommend everyone to listen to your work. Long live Rock and Roll !! Please continue to produce more songs like this !! Thank you very much!! Only music can save mankind !!

to possess or to relinquish

Lasky Moshe brings us Keeping... a truly horrible modern hip hop rock house style of crap. If the drum machine start doesn't bother you, just wait as it gets buried by crap guitar and even worse vocals. The whole thing is an affront to the ears and to music in general. How some people can think of this as a worthy effort simply shows the need for birth control. This is truly a horrible song.

Not what I expected

Wow wasn't what I expected at all! I'm generally not a big fan of electronica and synth driven music but this seems to work well and flow There are a few odd off beats here and there with the synth dip that work well!! With itvwas more guitar driven in the mix but overall pretty good

A proper atmosphere

At first listening, I really appreciate the music of this song: I like the chords and the sound of all instruments, the guitar part is very interesting! Unfortunately, I don't completely feel confortable with the lyrics and the voice, I found this last one with a little personality and I don't like the pronunciation...but it could be my fault: I usually associate this genre with a female voice...
