Fair Enough Song Feedback

Hey I think your song was fairly cool to listen to but.. The song writing could be a little stronger. Nowadays people need to learn positively or listen to a song that not only adults but children can listen to.

Nice Sound & Vibe

Hey your sound is very tight and professional, I can definitely feel that Usher vibe in your sound and vocals. Which is not a bad thing because He is one of the hottest Artists out there right now leading the Industry. The balance between the vocals and music is on point. Most of us up and can coming artists usually struggle with this, but your overhaul balance and sound is really good. Kudos to your team they truly got your back. I would suggest that maybe you can focus on finding something that can make you stand out from everyone else, your own unique signature sound, everyone in this business have to have it,and no one knows what it is better than you yourself. Whatever that is bring it out a little more , find that special thing that will accent your work, and you are good to go my friend. Usher has his and rihanna has hers etc. But honestly speaking it's a really good, Nice sound and vibe I really like it.

Hot

First of all the beat is hot and the intro is very invitational. The hook is catchy and nice, and the lyrics are pretty good. Overall I see greatness in this song. It has potential to top the charts. Keep it up!

Drink It Up...

What up Fam, Great song overall however, vocals sound forced. You have a nice tone and you would get more passion from your natural tone. I hear you in your natural tone throughout the song and if you build your melodies starting from there you will do well. Keep up the good work. Smoove Noir.....

Sounds good

I like his voice the production and the vibe of the song. He has a good look as well I think it will do good on radio. The song needs to be pushed more followed by a video and it will take off. I would like to hear more from Lanelle Tyler. Good job.

ON POINT

ONCE AGAIN, LANELLE TYLER HAS COME THROUGH WITH SOME REALLY COOL FEELS AND FLOWS! HIS VOCALS ARE ALWAYS ON POINT AND THE GROOVE IS HOT! BUT ,OF COURSE, THAT'S USUALLY BEEN THE CASE FOR THIS ARTIST! IF THERE WAS ONE THING I COULD COMMENT ON IT WOULD BE THAT I WOULD HAVE LIKED THE GROOVE TO GO TO ONE MORE PLACE, JUST TO TAKE IT A LITTLE HIGHER. EVEN MAYBE A MODULATION. I'M ALWAYS LOOKING FOR SONGS TO TAKE ME TO DIFFERENT LEVELS, BUT STILL THIS SONG HAS BITE! I LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING SOME OF HIS OTHER MATERIAL IN THE FUTURE! I'M PRETTY SURE JUST LIKE IN THE PAST, HE WON'T DISAPPOINT! HIS GROOVES ARE ALWAYS TIGHT AND THE PRODUCTIONS ARE ON POINT! BIG UPS TO HIM AND HIS CREW! STAY TOPSIDE!!

DRINK IT UP

I am not into this genre but Lanelle Tyler had me listening and listening and listening, to the very and then again and again. Lyrically, it's on point and makes a lot of sense. A beautiful and haunting melody buoyed by a fine production. I like it very much: so much so that I played back2back three times while I was writing my review. This wouldn't be outta place on commercial fm radio and I look forward to hearing it and singing along with it on a radio station near me soon. You've got it, Lanelle Tyler, so keep doing what you're doing and may the gods smile on you soon.

Nice

Also being from the Bronx, he already gets a thumbs up from me. Now for the SWOT. STRENGTHS - well produced, nice voice (especially the stuff that wasn't auto-tuned). WEAKNESSES - The music and melody sounds like any number of other artists out there. If Tarius Music could sing his stuff would sound like this. Who's Tarius Music? (my point exactly). OPPORTUNITIES - let some musicians and producers get at that track and give it some life. THREATS - this does not stand out as a song or track. Now that you can sound like everybody else, what is going to make me listen to Lanelle??? Keep it going sir!!!

Great tune! Real talent right hear!!

This is a highly rated artist in my book. The talent shines through, Tyler's voice is amazing, you can hear that it is a raw, without too much of the studio sauce that other artists need to sound polished. No Tyler sounds like a singer that can re produce his performances live. Further, the message behind the music is powerful... you hear he is proud of his spirituality and sense of self is flawless. More power to this guy on the road to fulfilling his talents.

Love it!!

Radio friendly!! Niiice!! This is something I can hear on the radio or in the clubs everywhere. Very Usher like, or Trey Songz like. As a songwriter this would sell easy to one of the platinum artists or sell millions online. Love it!!

Rockin' Out!

What's up LT. Bro, I really dig this piece across the board. Aside from the arrangement, good vocals, and bottom track, the lyrics and real life value make it a seriously marketable piece. Can't wait to hear more.

Contemporary R&B

If you like the latest hits on contemporary r&b radio, then you'll enjoy this soulful track by New Yorker, Lanelle Tyler. In "Drink It Up" Tyler uses many of the typical musical devices found on tracks by Usher, Chris Brown, The Weekend, etc. While the song flows well, coming in at 3:33, I wish I could've heard more of Tyler's true vocal stylings without the use so many vocal effects.
