I was not sure it was withney at first so I made an effort remembering this song .I think to myself now " hey ,well not so bad" the tune is in fact well covered you've got a good tone of voice ,may be you should work the technique harder to improve your natural voice gift. Good cover indeed .

you have a great voice, that much no one can argue but my opinion is that you could of turned this into your own instead of doing a cover song. i hope to hear more of your art. also try some up tempo songs. i know you would kill it.good luck on your journey.

I must say you have a great voice. I would like to hear an original song by you. This song fits your voice and very nice vocal range. Having a original song will show how your vocals are in a different diminsion. Some times people sound really great as yourself mimicking someone else. Please request me to hear a original. You have an outstanding voice and I’m sure at some point you’ll showcase it with your own music. Either that, or you’ll take someone else’s song and make it your own, which you didn’t really do here. I don’t say that to slight you in the least. As I’ve stated, you have a great vocal style and ability, but the song you chose is very challenging, and there is only one Whitney. There are intact other singers out there who have done it better, and by that, I mean a better imitation. One artist who comes to mind is Tamara Foster, who does a great Omarion of Whitney Houston, doing the very same song - Seek her out on YouTube and you’ll see what I mean. She could make a living doing Whitney, perhaps she does. You on the other hand cannot based on what I’ve heard here. But that’s ok because you don’t have to because you have a unique vocal quality all your own. Find your own voice. You’re just as good as anyone out there, so get out there and do you. I hope you understand that I’m trying to be encouraging when I say that you’re good. You’re good but you don’t sound enough like Whitney Houston to imitate her. But you don’t need to because you are a great vocal talent in your own right. And I want to hear more only I want to hear you doing you. I have no doubts that you can be just as successful as anyone, yes, even Whitney Houston, by doing Kraft BeAutiful - which you are by the way. Great vocals! It would be nice to have a bit more reverb on your vocals so it wouldn't sound a bit like a "karaoke" track. Just my opinion. Great job doing a cover of this song. Not an easy one to sing without a comparison to the original but as mentioned, you did good!!

I think one of the things I always struggle with are people who love a song so much and want to do a cover of it while trying to make it their own. Here's a fine example of a singer who has a pretty voice trying to outdo a masterful song with a magic memory. The range and scope of the singer just can't compare with Whitney - though the singer is great! I think an original song choice would be a dynamo hit.
