Sonnie Gregory Jr
Sonnie Gregory, Jr aka (ghosti) being originally south Philadelphia where his parents gave me the opportunity of deciding which instrument he wanted to pursue at an early age. Beginning to fully pursue music at the age of eight by playing guitar in 1965 and transition to the drums January 1976 after a mutual friend (Andy) gave his set just before graduation from Northampton County High School. Professor Brown of Chowan College in Murfreesboro North Carolina set Sonnie music career into motion by introducing Jazz concepts and guided him through the theory which drive the composition of a melody which gave the guidance to follow a musical path. First stage performance with “Camouflage” while attending Chowan College in 1977. Serving 13 years in the military and performed in many Military Shows, Church Choirs, Gospel Groups, Productions and local groups of all genres to include studio work. Three years on Oahu Hawaii from 1982-1985 began the undeniable path of Jazz and performing in various groups. Moving to the Pacific Northwest in Olympia WA 1985 help fuel the desire to continue to travel the contemporary jazz path. In 1986 Sonnie performed in jazz sessions with recording artist and Jazz Trumpeter Barbara O’Donnell at her own “Barb’s Soul & Jazz Quizine in Lacey WA with guess Saxophonist Mitch Sloan. After forming the contemporary group “Aiki” in Watertown NY in 1991, he decide to leave the military. 1992 he moved and now resides in San Antonio with 38 years of experience on Drums and brings a soulful rudimental articulated technique and influence by many such as Lenny White, Billy Cobham and Harvey Mason. has performed with various R&B, Blues, Rock, Country & Western, Tejano and Latin bands in the Alamo City. Performed with the Phantom Crew Band to open for Bobby Bland in 1994. Performed with recording artist Bonnie Barnard 2002 to include studio time. Work as a freelance drummer during 2003-2004. From 2005 – 2009 performing two years with the “Last Of Our Kind” and two years with “Music For Ya Soul”. 2009 began the journey to create original music. Drummer, percussionist, sounding engineer, recording & mix technician, arranger, composer and songwriter.
Lisa. Kerns aka (ChicaDiva) originally from Pampanga Philippines, married to retired military. Moving to San Antonio TX in 1994 and still presently residing. Being highly influenced by the memory of her wonderful father, whom inspired her to write and create melodies. The ultimate passion of love expressed from the heart to compose and create songs. Lead vocalist, keyboard program & effects, sounding engineer, recording & mix technician, arranger, composer and songwriter.
