King Nicodemz

King Nicodemz was born March 14th, 1981 in Chicago,Il to Mary Whitfield anf Jeffrey Ranson Sr. Raised on the southside of Chicago, I quickly learned how to fight for what I wanted and fight to survive. I was raised in a religious family so I always had God in my life and that made me the honest, unique, independent, and strong man that I am today. I was a smart kid growing up and became very interested in writing. I started writing poetry and creative short stories. I loved the fact that I could express myself freely. It made me feel as if I could create my own world. My mother and father listened to a lot of Motown. I quickly became a fan of The Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye, Mariah Carey, The Spinners, The Stylistics, and so forth. I fell in love with music. Some neighborhood friends of mine used to freestyle everyday after school. I just listened at first, then I started joining in. It came to me naturally and I quickly realized I had a talent. I started to utilize this talent and create my own songs. Over the years my confidence grew and I began to get a lot of positive feedback. This is what I am meant to do, and I am one of the few that can make it in this industry. I have a unique style unlike anybody out there. I stay true to myself and refuse to fabricate a story for anyone's entertainment. I am me, what you get is what you see.
