K-E Dahlin

About K-E Dahlin

Born 6th of August 1965 in Jakobstad, Finland. He grew up in a family where his father introduced him in the art of playing accordion and later on in composing music. K-E got his first and only accordion at the age of six. That accordion was later traded to a guitar amplifier.

As a teenager he found more interest in Rock'n Roll music and Hard Rock, so the natural thing for him was to learn how to play the electric guitar. He played in some local bands for some years, both as a guitar player, bass player and as a vocalist.

In the early nineties he went to study music for one year and during that time he discovered his skills in composing music. Though he was and still is influenced by rock'n roll and hard rock, classical music and musicals has always been a source of inspiration to him.

In 2008 he experienced the devastating cyclon Nargis in Myanmar. After that he wrote music that would become a recording of the CD "NARGIS" where the Yangon Musical Orchestra performed six musical tracks.
