When I first started to publish songs, I did not know what I was doing. However, God spoke to me, letting me know His pleasure was with me to pursue this. Thus, I jumped off the high end and dove in, trusting God to help me. I knew with confidence God would give a good and prosperous outcome. After 2 years of recording, mixing and mastering I finally have a good handle on the whole process. As I look back on the original release of MY NAME IS POWER, I am surprised it sounds as good as it does. However, I have learned to mix and master much better.
This remastered version has a new bass line and some synth/guitar solo parts, that truly make this song Top 40 worthy. I also remixed it in a more 80's style. Along with my much improved mixing and mastering, this song sounds AMAZING! This was a song idea my twin brother and I came up with about 20 years ago and I know he would be proud of this release today.
