nice slow song

very reminiscent of early beaver brown and Neil D, a steady whole note piano line drones throughout the piece providing a nicely done picket fence backbone to the song. A strong Saxophone line permeates and give a nice emotional tension to the vocals, and is a refreshing change from the composers usual guitar work, and makes one wonder why the sax, which is superior in performance to any of the afore mentioned guitar parts, would not have been used more liberally in his prior works. The music and vocals are then graced with an almost gospel choir sounding background bit that does its job perfectly. If there was anything that stopped the song from receiving a 5 out of 5 from me it would be, once again, that the vocals were not mixed with enough clarity and the overuse of the canned applause.

Who's Kiddin Who review

A very well written song again that you have loaded up here. It has excellent lyrics, vocals (lead and backing) that deliver nicely. I really enjoyed the open spaced drums that laid back and punched when needed. Nice sax solo as well. This is a song that I played twice to get the full impact of it and wasn't disappointed in its production. This one is nicely done. The applause though is once again a little distracting. Keep them coming.

Great song!

This is just my taste of music. Sounds like from back in the days when artists like Joe Cocker sang. This could be a song that he sang. Keep up the great work and best of luck with your music :) Bobby

Hi How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being? In this world there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it. A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal.

I Hear Your Pain...

The pain of 'losing' a loved one or a friend is hard to bare. This song has beautiful chord changes. The lyrics are powerful and filled with meaning. A song that touches the writer and then conveys to the listener, is what makes this song a strong selection for the top of the charts. Nice sax performance. Great lead vocals filled with passion. Nice harmonies. I like the 'added' audience which gives the effect of a live performance. Overall , definitely one of the better tunes posted here. Nice work...

Whos Kidden Who

Very well written John Anthony Saucier has a great voice with a little Joe Cocker look and feel vocally. A pretty good production as I'm listening to it in my studio. LOL... The saxophone solo was a great touch to the song.. the back grounds at the last part of the song also added a very nice touch. The bass sounds fill up the low mid nicely. The drums where a good loop I do think a live drummer would have added a lot more to this track. that being said it still comes off very nice. So John Anthony Saucier you have a great track.. I wish you the best of luck..

Incredible

This track is amazing, from production to the writing. Your voice is beautiful and you definitely know when to get into the verse and when to pull back, just beautiful delivery. The songs hook is great and I never got bored. I'll be intrested in hearing more for sure

Powerful Live Music Sound

This great live-performance comes from a musican who understand what good music is about. Some can hear that the band had fun and really enjoyed making music together. And that gives the tune magical moments. Perfect accompanying piano and the soulful vocals of John A. Saucier increases a blues feeling. In addition the chor-line sounds fantastic in a varied pitch range of the refrain. The brilliant saxophone solo makes the song lively and creative. Powerful drums and the bass-line making the music complete. The lyrics come from the heart and touching the soul. This song is definitely professional, influenced by pop and blues in perfect orchestration. I can´t stop listen this song and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Well-written song!

Stratford, Ontario’s John Anthony Saucier has produced a really good gospel-country track entitled Who’s Kiddin’ Who. The building orchestration is really nice and the vocal performance is solid.

Who's Kidding Who Review

Great songwriting and vocals John! The choice of chord changes in the song compliments the melody of the vocals very well. Loved the sound of the saxophone! Enjoyed the "live audience" sound of the recording, gives me the feeling I am there at the performance. Keep the great music coming John!
