little river bandish

nice hat tip to the little river band in the opening. Great amount of space given to the individual instruments, nicely played as well. Harmonies are well placed even though we would still like to have the vocals placed more prominently in the mix. Guitar solo breaks were judiciously under played and therefore did not interfere with the tone of the piece. Maybe a little less busy High hat would open up the tune a bit more as its a constant presence throughout the song but overall a very nice construct.one of the better entries from this songwriter.

Clown

The song begins and builds up well. Sounds like a sad story though. Is it about your own life or is it a story about someone else? Who's the Clown as I often relate this to myself as I am the clown that makes my wife laugh so I dont mind fooling around for a woman to make her laugh. A gather you are free from someone in the story. I like the guitar riff.

Clowns review

I find myself liking this one also. Your melody line is really interesting and effective in the track. You have a great backing vocal arrangement as well. I enjoy the reference of 'clown' in the song. It becomes real personal of the writer for the listeners. The track could use some retakes for the timing but all in all, it is a very nice song. I would just suggest getting the flow of the song in line and it will make the vocals that much better. Keep writing more like this.

Clowns

So when ever you can take some time from your busy schedule let me know and we can talk about Gustavo and hopefully what I tell you it will help you with him he is a good kid I wish he was mine too but he is not. So I dont want to step out of line of what our beliefs are and how to raise him but sometimes the mistakes we make what we believe in and it could effective short and long term enjoy the rest of the day and your evening. Take care

CLOWNS -a review.

First off, the string work in "CLOWNS" is almost perfection! From the rythem track to the lead parts, it isn't over-done, and adds so much emotion to the track. Percussion isn't overbearing, and "hits" or pumps up at the right times. Vocally, I find it a little hard to understand all the lyrics, but enough to "get" the song. J.A. Saucier has a voice that slightly reminds me of Lightfoot, or that style. Is the song LIVE? or were the crowd effects placed in? Curious, as that would explain the vocals not being clear enough, but if LIVE, great track over-all. Respectfully Dave/CHRONIC PAIN

Hi joke is a very serious thing. Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. There are several good protections against temptations, but the surest is cowardice. There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist, except an old optimist.

John Anthony Saucier - Clowns-

John Anthony Saucier, con su canción Clowns nos presenta un estilo Country-Pop bastante acertado para la época actual. Una voz muy personal acompañada de arreglos bien estructurados y una base solida nos llevan a disfrutar al máximo de este estilo musical.

Clown joy is watching the circus catch on fire

"Clown joy is watching the circus catch on fire," says an old circus expression. But "Clowns" surprises with a great guitar that rips the canvas of feelings that holds the pleasure of life full and at full throttle. Increase the volume. The music runs through the pores, raising the sensitive hairs on the skin. That's when everything returns to the beginning and the clowns return to the scene, without setting the scene on fire.

Singing in style

Well, basically it's totally not bad, as a whole. Things are in place and guitar parts finally are surreptitiously acceptable, at last. Of course, it all comes down to the origins of song foundation, which here to my view are rooted somewhere in the 70s (I don't mind). All there is to desire to feel yourself placed like on top of the world is a good taste of production line, something that never comes easy. But it's worth trying to manage the stuff or something.

Clowns - Review 07-19-2020

Nice open sound and real airy and pleasant recording, I like the acoustic sound of the guitars, a very solid listen, Vocals and instruments are spot on and the piece is well done. The only thing i might change might be to lower the music in the mix, it overtakes the vocal just a bit, lower the music and let the vocal shine. Well done my friend - RD / Voodoo, Dayton, Ohio, USA

Somewhat Edgy

Great guitar. I really enjoyed the rich guitar sound of Clowns, almost to the point you could feel the clowns coming in and marching, grinding down and giving it Hell. Very good effort indeed. All the best

Remarkable Blues Rock

There's a lot to say about this song, but I'll be brief it anyway. The song impressed me deeply much. The music starts off with piano answered by bold chords from the e-guitar. The drums forcing the music constantly on a higher level. Special highlight is the blues-guitar solo close to the end. The whole instrumentation implements a great feeling for music. John A. Saucier has really great blues vocal and touches the soul. The lyrics are impressive and the romantic passion unleashes deep feelings. Overall good mixed and mastered live-recording. This awesome blues-rock could be a radio hit. Listen to the music and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Nice Melody Good Structure

Like the changes in the bridge and the stacking of the harmonies. A cool gritty voice with a lot of character. In fact, the vocal needs to come up in the mix and be a bit dryer as well as the harmony vocals. Highlight that unique voice,it is a solid plus! The snare would benefit from a little less mid-range. A well written song with a good hook.

Great groove

Love the vibe. Efficient yet tasty chord progressions. I think the vocals may be a touch too low in the mix. The ride bell is a little too hot lol but that a minor mix thing. Great structure and I think this would be a winner performed live.
