Reminds me of a Bob Seger song sung by Joe Cocker. From that era too, which in this genre I guess is timeless.

Reminds me of a Bob Seger song sung by Joe Cocker. From that era too, which in this genre I guess is timeless. I like the dynamics, starting slowly with the piano intro and building up from there.

wondering....

The Piano intro lays a nice platform to kick off the tune, but the vocals seem to be a bit muddy and hard to understand often. The guitar line which gets interjected seems to be recorded with a highly distorted digital source, possibly a pod or some similar amp in a box, and tends to reach higher than it can attain. It's also mixed a bit too high after the solo and further clouds the vocal line, and at times is Pitchy to say the least. The Canned applause to intro and exit the song still seems too contrived and does nothing to add to the piece. One would have to wonder if laying the whole thing down with just the piano and a clear vocal track, laid over the top with little effect would do the song more justice.

Love Me As I Am review

As in the past, I have enjoyed the arrangements you have on your songs. What always jumps out is the surprise direction that you go with you bridges and choruses. They are generally not the typical that I hear so often. Good job on that. As far as this particular song, I enjoyed the lyrics on this one and the piano intro is a nice compliment to the song. If I were to suggest anything for this one, it would be to perhaps play down the distorted guitar and look at a different approach or instrument to take the listener. Maybe just a cleaner solo approach? Good work and keep it up!

Hi It’s better to be unhappy alone than unhappy with someone. You never know what life is like, until you have lived it. career is wonderful, but you can’t curl up with it on a cold night.Success makes so many people hate you.

A Personal raspy voice from Canada

A Cool pop rock song with good and warm lyrics. We should all be accepted the way we are. This apploud sound doesn't fit there but music is great and a voice is cool raspy voice. Guitar solos are played extremely well.

Vulnerable Yet Powerful; John Anthony Saucier delivers again.

John Anthony Saucier again delivers a moving love song in his rough yet sensitive style. This time with his excellent live band; which really gives the song some kick and drive. Super catchy and melodic, Love Me As I Am grabs you with it's infectious hook. The lyric is vulnerable yet powerful and the band's live dynamics are excellent in putting this across. I give Love Me As I Am a full 5-star rating.

Bop review

Hello folks it’s been a while but I’m back, let’s go,right off the bat the vocals of bob Steiger hits you also I hear some Huey Lewis vocals also.this is a well written slow rock song. Very good instrumentation being played, such as a prominent guitar with very nice sound it's really kool with the rhythm section.great sounding track for a live piece very good production and arrangements overall great track.

Smooth Vibes

Smooth Vibes on this keeping it real on "Love Me As I Am". Nice instrumentals with a ruff but flavored vocals. Great job on this one. If you haven't seen John Anthony Saucier, you should, Best Wishes from Mr Blue Roads

What a great voice

This is what jumps right away to your ears, a great voice. Feels like a Springsteen/Dire straits...does not matter. The guitar is a little busy and the audience sounds unreal, maybe it is real, that would make sens since I know a lot of country rock dudes and girls that would enjoy the track a lot. I cross my finger for success and I ll be so happy to have songs like that played largely on N1m and anywhere else. Good luck John, I know we all need some, especially during war time as we are passing through right now. Stay all put and listen to good tracks. :)

Great Potential

I think this song has great potential and wouldn't be surprised if a country singer along the way would pick this up and add it to an album. I can feel a steel guitar added to it and maybe a little different piano arrangement. While the vocals hear do tend to remind me of Joe Cocker a bit, I can hear someone with a powerful voice and range tweaking it up a bit and putting their own stamp on it, maybe someone "old school" country like Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn or even Alison Cross.

Great Song!!!

It is very gratifying to hear the beginning of your song between the short piano and your integrating voice, I would have added a little more effect to your voice and the chorus with a little more presence. The music makes me imagine driving in my car heading home after a day of work and with the sun setting on the left side of my face. I really liked the sound of the main guitar, it doesn't have as much saturation and it perfectly accompanies your voice.

Song for heart

Moody love song with a good feel. Liked it from the start. Mixing and mastering is like it to be expected from a musician, who appropriated in different music styles. The music starts off with melodious piano accompanying. Versatile beats of the drums and an e-guitar solo increasing the music. Impressive vocals of J.A. Saucier and the lyrics touching the heart. This song can set off deep emotions and I´m sure you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.
