Really good song

The music had great sounds and tones that really grabbed my attention. Vocals were on point and complimented the music and style. I really enjoyed it a lot. Just wanted to give you a little feedback didn’t have anything negative to say about it at all. Thanks for your time

Amazing Song

This song is an amazing song. I loved the music and the delivery of the song. I look forward to hearing more music from John Anthony Saucier. Everything about this song is amazing. I love the blend of the Pop, Country, and Rock genres to make this song. I hope that there is definitely more great music to come and I am definitely a huge fan of this song and of you. Keep up the amazing work!!!

nice Harrison Vibe

firstly let me say that the 'Harrison" vibe to the song is nicely played, and the whole arrangement from a performance aspect is well done, right up until the guitar solo. A few production points which I hope will be considered for the future. When mixing the tune please make sure that after you have notched the bass guitar to leave room for the kick, which should be far more pronounced and you make the bass and drums present, you bring the vocals up CLEARLY. An easy trick to have the vox stay present in the mix is to copy and paste them to two other tracks then LIGHTLY apply any effect you are looking for and pan those effects hard left and right. Then place the acoustic guitar and Piano panned to the left and right as well in the mix to allow them to have their own place in the mix. The electric guitar work would benefit from a tighter sound and a bit cleaner performance, along with a little less overplaying on the outro of the song. Nicely written tune deserves a more defined presentation.

Like the song very 70's. I enjoyed the chord change up throws it off the usual! I would up the vox when you want to do this I would like to have ur voice over the music instead of lost in the mix. Over all that is it I like it all

Sweet Marie review

There have been many of your songs come in front of me. Some have been simpler in structure and others have had a bit more in the composition and make up. This is one of those that pleasantly takes the melody in several unexpected directions. The structure is really done well. The biggest thing that is holding this one back some is the guitar work is needing fixing. The solos are a little sloppy and should be re-recorded. And, as in the past, the canned applause should be taken out. It is only a distraction from the tune itself. Good luck in the future.

Canadian acoustic

Beautiful acoustic guitars. Love the Canadian songs. Your voice is warm and sensitive. I’m not sure the applauses were necessary, but surely you have a reason for that. Keep making music that improves our souls. Great mix too. My best regards.

Good vocals, kind of reminds me of Cat Stevens. Nice sound kind of soothing. Style brings to mind Jim Croce. Draws pictures with the lyrics. Well written and complementing arrangement to support vocal.

Hi

This to me is a nice demo in progress..I do think it is Worth to put More Work in to..First Vocal and Arrangement need to bring Up to The Next Level.and a Recording Quality must be Outstanding..when All of above is done.. go for and send out ( I do like The Melody)..if You will send It as It is I think THEY will agree with me.. so put some extra work..as You know Music Publishers and Radio Stations looking for Great Songs and Yours is not on That Level yet...Good Kob..

Sweet Little Meaningful Tune...(I hope Marie hears this song!)

You can hear the pain of what this man is going through throughout the lyrics, and about the songwriter's agony of missing this girl, Sweet Marie, probably from a past relationship. Nice chord changes, unique, nice guitar parts, and I like the audience clapping inserts in the two different sections of the song...Nice easy song to listen to. Maybe the writer is thinking if Marie hears this song and the writer's heart felt dedication, she may have second thoughts and return back to him. Don't give up! Keep on writing and keep on hoping. Marie if you are reading this, return and mend this broken man's heart!

Outstanding Song with rock elements

Diversified recording from very ambitionated musician. The song starts melodical clear with acoustic guitar sound but becomes really power with additionel instrumentation like accompanying piano and e-guitars. John A. Saucier has a unique voice and dynamic vocal projection. The lyrics come from the heart and touching the soul, but the whole composition is more various. Engaged drums and brilliant rock-guitar solos increases the music. The beat is forcing the music constantly on a higher level. The guitars exactly where they should be on a track of this quality, but all instruments stand out. This song could be a radio hit and it´s an original. I´m sure you will like add him. Let others know your recommendation.

A sweet popsong

I hear a potential real good old school pop song. It has nice melodylines and a good arrangement. Recorded in a pro studio with a producer that knows this genre would really do wonders. The rythm section is working just fine and with the acoustic guitar and piano its very nice. However there is an electric guitar there that is a bit to much. The guitar sound is way to distorted. There is always a matter of opinion, but my advice is to keep the nice natural sound in the song. Fill in with an almost clean guitar or do a piano solo. Some other things I would do is make it a bit shorter, and I would cut the applause and get rid of the autotune on the vocal. Try to work on the natural sound of the voice. There could be a word here or there that´s in the need of adjustment, but I believe that in the end the natural sound is the way to go in general and especially with this song. Keep up the good work. I think you write wonderful songs. All the best -Kris
