Song Reviews

Bop review

Here’s a cool track I found by john Anthony saucier, this is a cool rocking bluesy track with a great arrangement and production. From the first bar it reminds me of Bruce Springsteen and the E street band, especially the vocals sounds just like him and other popular blues artists.the musicianship and track recording is exceptional and professional as well.I notice this man has quite of few other tracks on here, you should listen to them this man is a very good songwriter.

Another Cool Song

At first I wasn't sure about the sound because of the heavy echo and effects on the vocals, but the music and vocals kicked in and it started making sense. Another cool song with a Joe Cocker feel combined with a classic rock beat and some new age feel with the effects. The guitars are steady throughout and the storyline of the lyrics tells the story in a simple way that's easy to follow.

Joe Cocker esque

Mellotron sounding keys open the song leading into a Joe Cocker inspired vocal track. Unfortunately, while I am assuming that there are lyrics, they are mostly indecipherable throughout the song. The song moves into a now expected very overdriven guitar solo that tone wise doesn't seem to fit the tenor of the recording. The one lyric section that seems to be audible are the words "here I am" which is not unpleasant but I would welcome the ability to actually hear what is being said and maybe a cleaner mix.

Here I Am v2

I like It! A lot! Great writing/musicianship, too. There's a wall of sound in this one! I'd like to hear this with a more focused mid/side; frequency isolate the instruments and redirect some energy. I'd definitely pull your vocals out front, center. Add some presence, a short plate and air. I'd be happy to mix/master a version for you, if you sent me the track' stems. No charge, brother. this is a special song. just let me know.

Here I Am review

It seems this last few songs you have been sending in have had quite a bit more meat on them when it comes to the melodies. This one is a fine example of taking the melody in a different direction than the intro was building up to at the start. It is enough to perk up the listeners ears to hear where it is going. The overall production though could use a good remix to bring everything back in line with the levels (drums, vocals, etc). They are there, they just need a little tweaking. But all in all, this is a good song you've written. Keep it up and keep them coming.
