Greetings Friends, Wow, I guess you in the Midwest really had a winter! Hope to sing you some songs, with a little help from my friends... May 15 (Tuesday) from 8-10pm I'll be in Bloomington at the Songwriters Showcase, Bears Ale House & Eatery, 1316 East Third St (http://www.bearsplacebar.com/events/song-writer-show-case-12/). I will be sharing the stage with fellow Hoosier songwriters Cari Ray and Frank Jones. It's all guest chair night, so there will be a revolving fourth performer. Should be a great time, plenty of food and drink in the back room. 21+, free but tips appreciated. May 16 (Wednesday) from 8-10pm I'll be sharing the stage with my musical pals Michael Kelsey and Nicky Kerr at The Knickerbocker Saloon, 113 North Fifth, Lafayette (https://www.facebook.com/knickerbockersaloon/). This, the oldest bar in Indiana, is now totally smoke free. 21+, no cover, but tips appreciated. May 19 (Saturday) from 12:15 to 1pm as part of the MindBogling Event at the Lilly Nature Center, I'll be playing a short set in the amphitheater at the Celery Bog Nature Area, 1620 Lindberg Rd, West Lafayette (http://www.westlafayette.in.gov/egov/docs/1242238355744.htm). Joining me for this special event will be other SAMI songwriters. All the events throughout the day are free and family friendly. May 20 (Sunday) from 11:00am to noon I will be sharing two songs, one new and one old, at Dr. Will's Neighborhood Presents: The Gathering, Happy Hollow School Multi-Purpose Room, 1200 Salisbury St, West Lafayette (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1659220494300483/). I am greatly looking forward to playing these shows and events, and sincerely hope you can join me for one or more. I will be in the recording studio with Michael Kelsey in May, and Chase Cotten will be joining us to add some horns to some new tracks!
