I have always loved country music and knew at an early age what i wanted to do for a career. Back in the day of Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty if you had talent and willing to work relentlessly you had a good chance to make the professional end of the music industry but now it takes so much more. It takes talent, knowing or meeting the right people that recognize that talent, and the kicker Money and lots of it. I had a certain measure of success in the business as a musician hired to played piano for the late great Grand Ole Opry Star Ernie Ashworth. Ernie was great people and was kind enough to share his show with me on the road though it was refused for me to play the actual Grand Ole Opry when i believe i am right i am found to stand on it so like a guy named Gump once said "That is all I've got to say aboout that " Thanks to people like N1M we have a great chance to get our music heard. I believe it was George Jones that once said "The Next Elvis Presley has probably already put his guitar down" I say keep it real but keep the dream alive and believe in yourself.

That first part i wanted to share in hopes it will shorten the road to success for the young folk trying to make it a career . I have been on stage with some of the country music stars such as Ernie Ashworth,Charlie Louvin, Jack Greene, George Hamilton IV, Boxcar Willie, Bill Anderson, Justin Tubb, and JK Coltrain.. I now do it for a hobby to allow other people to hopefully enjoy my music. I am a Licensed South Carolina Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway C Dan Joyner for a career. I am happily married to the lovely Brenda Hickman Cobb Berry
