Review of I Wanna Be Ready

Good morning Jael. This song has a nice groove with a good sound, and well written. Of course no good groovin song can be complete without a sax somewhere in the recipe. ;) Great to hear the invitation of one and all to be right with Jesus. Although a lot longer than one might find in the usual song, there is enough variation through the song with alternating voices, tempo speeds, styles, and arrangements. The only thing I would say that "might" be missing is a HUGE bass solo that does some bold "walkin". ;) Great vocals and harmonies as well. I would say that the great music is the hook to keep one's interest perking. Many more blessings to all of you in the group as you are obedient to the Father's calling, and as you minister to those whom the Father would send you to. Have a great day in Jesus. :) Trev <):)

A few comments and suggestions

Awesome live recording!!! Guitar effects sound great! Drums and bass sound great! Vocals sound good! Cool groove! Saxophone needs a little presence; maybe a little boost on the high frequencies would do the trick

I WANNA BE READY

It has a Great Title especially during this COVID 19. I like the Rock Style and the music is really cool, the instrumental accompaniment is really good. Sound like the 70 Eagles or Chicago Style , I really like the change in the bridge, Saxophone my favorite instrument so that really kicked your song up a few more points. Like the Vamp question is are you ready. Your song keep popping up with unexpected changes, the female vocalist sounded great towards the end. My name is Dee and I enjoyed your music and lyrics

The point gets lost

To many solo breaks in the music for the musicians and its kinda clunky in spots...doesn't seam like the music was mad for the product and the idea is good though and preparing the minds to be ready

Great song with several jam sessions!

Helpful

Overall great song with several jam sessions of displays of instrumentation from the guitar, lead vocals and nice tasteful background vocals when it was needed. I have to be honest when I first listened in the beginning I was quite hesitant, and though it is a simple song it fits it pretty well. Lyrics are not overbearing which I like and music instrumentation recordings have a great balance. Great job guys and thanks for sharing. Roger Williams True Will Music

In MY Opinion

Helpful

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the message and energy in this song. The sax work in this song was fantastic. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny
