Hello Folks
I know some of you are familiar with my recent issues but I figured I'd share here. For those who do not know, I just went through a recent bout with cancer. I had surgery and the last 5 months have been a tremendous amount of healing.
The Great news!
Cancer Free!
I'm a survivor, but I'm sure it will show up in some songs, somehow. I just want to avoid tacky, if you know what I mean. It's always got to be real and meaningful and well written, or it's not a real song for me.
Anyway, your encouragements, notes and everything have been so uplifting through this time. They say that a good attitude helps a ton with healing. I will say that you all took part in this.
Thanks!
Your friendly neighborhood musician

Hello Folks
I know it has taken me a while but a couple days ago I finally upgraded and now I am able to upload some more songs. You have heard mainly songs with just voice and guitar, and I will add some more of those, but I also have some fully developed/arranged songs and want to share them with you.
When you get a chance just slip on over to my page and I hope you enjoy the songs I upload.
Thanks!
Take care!

Hey Folks
Thanks again for all the support!
I am getting ready for a brief East coast tour. It will include some coffee houses, Auditoriums, a couple church events and then house concerts.
I'm really looking at the house concerts more lately, as they give me a chance to be close to my audiences and really have a strong connection for the evening. I've shared many a large stage and love them for totally different reasons. Let's face it, there is a charge we get even if we are in a large audience when everyone starts singing, clapping whatever. Obviously this is fun for a performer as well.
That said, it is definitely harder to look each person in the eye. House concerts also have an intimacy that is cool for sharing stories and laughing with each other and even some serious moments as we take our time. If you might be interested in hosting one of these on a future tour, let me know. I'm willing to travel anywhere and I have lots of info to help it run smoothly and so you are not "Faking it" on your own. The focus of the travel for these types of concerts will look at areas where I can string a number of the events along the way. Curious? Let me know.
Lets see if we can connect in person!
Take care, and as the Doobies Brothers once said, "Listen to the music!"
Thanks
Jim

Hey Folks
Europe was such a blast! 3 countries in 3 weeks. Catching the atmosphere and cultures all while sharing my songs. I even learned a couple songs in Spanish for my time in Madrid and German for my time in Berlin. it was awesome as the music overcame any language barriers!
What now?
You all have been so kind. I have 3 songs up and it seems there is always at least one in the top 100. This week I have two there and "He Cut Me Off" is #6. Wow! Thank you for your encouragement and kind words and pushing this music with me. After I am done with this note to you all I plan on upgrading my membership on N1M so I can upload some more songs for you to check out.
You can find some of my work on CDBaby but also on some of the digital download sites like ITunes and Amazon and such.
Ready for next year?
I am, and a lot of it is due to your support in it all!
Thanks

Hey there folks
How has the summer been for you? I hope it has been as full and purposeful as mine has been! The summer has been packed with concerts and restaurant gigs and clubs and, well, whatever has come my way. I even did a gig for the Road Scholars at a retreat center. Very cool folks and a lot of wonderful conversation.
Most of what I am doing is also leading up to a tour to Europe this October where I will spend a week each in London, England - Madrid, Spain and Berlin, Germany. Much of the tour is being set up for me as we speak so I don't have all the details but I know there are some cool events being set up. An Arts Center concert, a recording in a Madrid Studio, and more. This will be a wonderful trip where I will also have a few musicians in each country joining me for the time I am there.
I hope all is well for you and keep listening to the music my friends. This is for all of us!

I hope you're doing well.
The sun is finally out again, life is in full swing and there is such cool stuff on the horizon!
Great stuff happening including the release of the new CD "Perspective Shift"
This was truly a labor of love and I had some of those guest musicians we only dream of. Folks who I grew up listening to and never saw the day they would be playing on my project. Phil Keaggy, Tony Hooper, Emedin RIvera and so many others.
Style? Seventies classic Rock. I mean rock too. Tony called me after I sent one for him to work on and said "This is like Led Zeppelin meets Kansas!" Phil brought his amazing taste to the party for 3 cuts on this project. I feel very free to brag on it because what they brought to this is what makes it such a great album.
It takes a musicians village to create a great project, and the village sure jumped in on this one,
