A handful of bluzey instrumental sounds bringing a message of salvation letting the listener know you don’t deserve the gift offered by the blood shed on the cross by the Son of God. Delivered by a strong set of vocals and in a very unique method, so set back and get your Sunday Christian message from this well produced piece of planned music! I would feel it safe to say you will probably want to check this message out more than once just to digest the story line and the method of delivery! Enjoy it is definitely different and unique!

You have a Great Blues Jazz sound Jerry that unique in that you have a different way of delivering your lyrics in cadence and intonation. That is a gifted drummer you have also playing along side you. Or is that you and you layered it in to the track? You also have a gift like Bobby Darin as a lyricist to paint a picture and tell a story to illustrate your words. . Enlightening and revealing the statutes of Truth which is anointed to bring people to understanding of Kingdom Principles and culture. Possibly even repentance too. Keep going, you have a raw sound to your voice that touches the heart too.

The music is nice, and I like it. I think it does have that down to earth vibe to it. I like this one a lot, and you're on your way to getting an award somewhere . Keep producing beat work like this, and keep your touch on it. This is unique and original. I think this is a hit for sure. Nice one! By the music you can tell that you are passionate about your work as every artist should be. Never give up and dreams and bigger things will follow! PEACE!

Deceptive title but a good song

I liked this song...while I can't say it had a really catchy hook, and it's not exactly what I would call a toe tapper, the guitar playing is really good, the recording quality is excellent and the singers voice has a gravelly tone reminicient of Tom Waits or Captain Beefheart (one of my favorites). I didn't really get whatt the titile had to do with the lyrics and this song is very wordy with a long message decrying entitlements and a recurring theme about niot deserving benefits, which I think should have been the title to the song. To be honest, I dont really go for preachy songs because while musicians may have insights into creativity, they certainly dont have any more wisdom about how to live your life than the ordinary Joe. In fact, as everyone know, many musicians have more difficulty than most when it comes to living a functional life...myself included. I am not one to criticize anybodies lyrics however, I couldnt write a good verse if my life depended on it. The only thing I can ever think to write about are mountains, canyons, bones, the wind, coyotes. or how some Betty fucked me over.

This song moves with a steady blues rock groove. That being said it takes some nice twists to add interest to the listener. The rythum section is not fancy but very steady for this style of blues. The singer sounds like Wolfman Jack, (no kidding) butit fits the style very well. My favorite part of the song was the great lyrics full of spiritual conversion & testimony. Nice job. I'm looking forward to more from these guys!

It sound to me that the dusty roads have taken their toll on Jerry's vocal chords and attempting to sing is causing him some problems. Singing about Jesus always makes me think of those multi-millionaire preachers that gullible U.S.followers send money to in the hopes of getting to heaven. If he needs to sing this stuff, may I suggest that he takes a listen to the gospel type songs on The Prisoners' Songbook (Spotify, CD Baby). They sound as if they might suit him down to the ground and could make him a few bob. Having tunes makes all the difference.
