Ain't No Grave
Ain't No Grave has some possibilities that are hinted at but not completely fulfilled in this version. First, the male vocal should stay; it lends a quality of belief at the later stage of life that most Christians would appreciate and identify the singer as someone who might be about to take that step into the unknown. I would leave out the female vocal because it distracts from the urgency and messaging of the male. I would slow down the drums to give the vocalist a sparse accompaniment that does not compete with the vocal. The guitar accents are good and the lead work could be pared down to reflect a slower song.

swingato

Aint no grave
I was first impressed with the old school Johnny Cash style country song. Even though this is more than likely considered southern gospel, there are other elements of different genres. Vocal is rustic but fits nicely with the lyrics. Guitar is good but would have liked to hear more of it. This is close to a Brother, where art thou song. An enjoyable listen!

The trippiest
So this track initially had me looking like hmmmm. The style of this track is wild. In a good way. You can feel that this was from the spirit. Ver organic. Also, the lyrics ver spiritual. I like this cuz even though it is such a grimey track, the mix is clean. The singers have good voices and actually on key. This is a very trippy song overall. Shout out to Oregon.

Good Roots Blues
I can DIG THIS! A hip take on an old blues/spiritual. I'd definitely keep an ear out for more music from this duo. Nice vocals and and guitar, and excellent choice in subject matter/song selection. I like the vocal outro, too.

Unexpected blast from the past...
As a rocker who grew up on Johnny Cash (who would have thought ????????), I have to say this came as a unexpected, but positive, surprise. He definitely had a little bit of Cash in his voice, and I have no doubt that the Man in Black himself would give kudos to this guy who's giving us a modern version of an old-school sound. keep it up!
