L.I.G.H.T. is a nonprofit organization and we will be doing a series of community service presentations highlighting different aspects of life. We are excited to present our first lecture dealing with your financial health!! L.I.G.H.T.’s goal is to educate those seeking to live a more GOD centered and fulfilled life. This includes the spiritual, the physical and financial component of your existence. Many find themselves living from paycheck to paycheck. Others feel like there is more month than money left at the end of the pay period. Some feel overwhelmed and anxious when dealing with their finances, or in managing money in general. You may have funds saved and are trying to figure out how to best invest those funds. The information that will be provided will help you in making an informed decision on where to best invest your funds. Am I speaking to you? L.I.G.H.T. will be sponsoring a financial literacy workshop to help you plan your financial future! The speakers for this event will be the Fleurant brothers ( Albertoni and Desyl Fleurant). Albertoni has been an accounting instructor for over 11 years at Nassau community College. He currently is an investment advisor for Primerica and has been helping families prepare and solidify their financial portfolio for over 9 years. He is series 6, 63 and 26 licensed. Desyl Fleurant has served in the U.S. navy for 8 years. He pursued a career in pharmacy and worked part time helping to educate people on money management. As he helped more families, he became more passionate about what he does and realized that this was his calling. He teamed up with his brother Albertoni and became Regional Vice Presidents in 2019. They are affectionately known as the Fleurant brothers. We want To inspire you to be L.I.G.H.T. ( Live In GOD’S Holy Thoughts) In order to be a blessing to those in your circle of influence. This can be done by sharing your God given gifts and talents .. The same way that GOD has asked us to secure our salvation In JESUS, GOD I believe requires us to be good stewards of our finances. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
