Hello,

It's been a little while. I hope everyone is well. I wanted to provide an update, and a thank you.

I'll be flying out to Indiana to finish the Via Skies album with Chad Cussen in October. We'll do a live stream that week from Indiana, then we'll be playing a show in Chicago on Saturday October 8th. Some touring is planned as well, once the album is out.

In the meantime, we have 2 new songs from the upcoming album up on Bandcamp. The link is below. I plan on adding more to N1M as well. Which brings me to my most important reason for writing, and that is to thank everyone for their support. It is appreciated more than you know.

Your patience is also appreciated. With Covid, and Chad moving, things have taken longer than we'd hoped. But nothing else has changed. We can't wait to get this album out there, and into your ears.

3/22/21: Wanted to add an update. Original post from summer 2020.
As promised, I have made my new band Via Skies' first single 'Home' available on N1M. We're working on album.
The song is also available on Apple Music, Spotify, etc just search "Via Skies Home."

Its 116 degrees (47 degrees Celsius) outside, and I'm excited to announce Chad Cussen and I are making great progress recording instruments and vocals for new songs. We just finished up vocals for one of them today.

The songs 'Home' and 'Mas Lento'
are being recorded as Via Skies, and should be available later this year or early 2021. Home will be the first completed. They'll be released on N1M (and Bandcamp) before they go to iTunes, Amazon, etc. as a sign of appreciation for you good people who have supported me here on N1M, (and Bandcamp) and have patiently waited for new music. Thank you.

We're planning to record much more down the road, but this is a good start. Also, jeffgonzalesmusic DOT net and viaskies DOT net will be up and running soon, and my new email address is jeff AT jeffgonzalesmusic DOT net.

Chad Cussen and I have started a two-piece project called Via Skies. We're working on new material, and will be performing in the Phoenix area beginning in a few months.

Hello everyone,
First off I just want to thank all my subscribers for your support. I will do my best to be more active here on N1M. Things have slowed down a bit music-wise for me this year, as my wife and I raise our young family. However, I am getting ready to record a new EP (hoping for a February '16 release), and west coast shows in Phoenix, Tucson, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle are in the works for next year. I'm also hoping to get back to the Midwest and East Coast sometime in 2016.
