I am so excited to see so many new fans here!! Whether you are a new fan or whether you have been a fan of mine for many years, please know that I appreciate you so very, very deeply!! I have embarked on a special project, a new show called, "An Evening of The Music of SADE And More". Sade has been a huge inspiration to me in my music career and I want to honor her by performing her songs in a show. I will also be performing my own original songs and I will have two very special guest vocalists with me to perform also, Myra Kalbaugh and Swan Charisse. This show will take place on February 2nd, 2023, at the elegant Gatsby's Supper Club inside The Gambit in Henderson, Nevada, just 15 minutes outside of Las Vegas. If you are in the Henderson or Las Vegas area and you want to come to my show, please purchase your tickets in advance because we will surely sell out. The tickets are $25.00 on Eventbrite. There is also a $30.00 food/beverage minimum. The doors will open for dinner and drinks at 6:00 PM and the show will begin at 7:30 PM. I remember the first time I heard “Smooth Operator”. It was so very different than any other song I had ever heard. I stood next to the radio in my living room, frozen in my tracks…transfixed by Sade’s gorgeous, exotic, warm, sensuous, texture rich voice. I was instantly transported into the vivid imaginings of the world of her Smooth Operator…transcending space and time. I was not familiar with this beautiful, mysterious & powerful vibe, but I knew I needed more of this…it spoke to my soul. Something in the majestic exoticism of her voice and the sophisticated expression of this sumptuous music let me know, deep in my spirit, that it was ok to be me…to completely and freely be myself…to live comfortably and proudly in my own exoticism, in my own beautiful truth.

Needless to say, I have forevermore been deeply enamored with the music of SADE…as many of us are. Thus, it is my great pleasure to invite you to my current show, “An Evening of The Music of SADE”. I like to think of this show as a beautiful piece of living art, in honor of the one and only Helen Folasade Adu and her phenomenal band, SADE.
