Da Crown is a 2020 release by CRiiSiS. Artists Kidd-X, Ray Sensi and TreFlo, (DJ) created a masterpiece of music which is brilliantly and unfathomably skillful.

Only a thousand exist. Get yours now, if you still can and thank me later. Da Crown is old school hip-hop/rap at its finest!
The first song, Vise Grips literally grips you with a strong beat and lyrics that are aimed straight at the, "mumble-rap" set. Also in the cross hairs of the bay area legend Kidd-X is Bobby Bouche', the poor bastard! Melodic as it is cutting it's a hard hitting hip-hop track that will have you bobbing your head with the beat, chuckling at the lyrics and being thankful you're not, "Bobby". Ever want to find the low end of your system's bass? Title track, Da Crown just might get you there. With all three, Ray Sensei, Kidd-X and TreFlo, (DJ) bringing it hard. Not just a bass-heavy track to rattle the windows, it's rife with deep lyrics too. A stand-out track and one of my favorites is, Thank God I Left My Room. This is one of those songs that will stay with you. The super-catchy hook and the bouncy rhythm will be stuck in your head for days...and, that's a good thing. You may hear some iconic melodies, (Crazy Love) or familiar movie clips, (Problematic). And, some tracks might have you hitting rewind to decipher the lightning-fast raps of Ray Sensei. Then there's Fun Tonight is melodic, lyrically polished and fun.
Pick a track, any track and it is obvious that this album is a labor of love. From the mixing and mastering to the energetic and fresh performances this album is one of Kidd-X's best! Track after track, Da Crown is diverse and coherent, flowing effortlessly from song to song. .And, since there's a song here for every mood you will definitely and without a doubt find yourself reaching for Da Crown again and again.
