Hi Gang, it's been a long minute since sending one of these out and I wanted to reconnect and give you all a little update. First, I want to say thank you to N1M and all of you for your support, since first creating a profile here. I've been repeatedly blown away by the response to this music and to you, as fans. Much love and gratitude. There have been some setbacks over the last few years- one of which was tearing a tendon in my left arm, making guitar playing impossible for quite some time. Finally after several months of physical therapy, I'm focusing more on music again. There have been several (over 40 in total) little snippets of songs that I've written during the recovery period and this last spring, I picked a few of them to begin developing from the riffs they were conceived as. Wasn't taking it too seriously and saw it more as just a mini-project and opportunity for me to get more experience at recording on my own and using GarageBand on the iPhone. As such, there were no external mics used and everything was recorded using the mic on the phone. The end result is two new, mostly instrumental tracks- "I Am the Shaman" and "A Sendoff to Israel." Recording these led me to some new musical territory and I liked where things ended up enough to release them both as new Heretic songs. They're definitely not rock but I wanted to share them and see what you guys think. Free downloads so hit em up and song recommendations are always appreciated!
