Since leaving the UK and The Legoheads several years ago, Mick has effectively become a one-man-band, Guardians of the Slow Lane. Mainly focused on writing and recording original material with a distinctive sound influenced by UK indie and pop artists from the last few decades, including The Stone Roses, The Jam, The Smiths, The Beautiful South, Arctic Monkeys, Half-Man, Half Biscuit to name but a few.
