Mesrop Mashtots Song

Dear Friends We posted the St. Mesrop Mashtots Song recently. Mesrop Mashtots was the guy who invented the Armenian alphabet in 400AD. By the end of his life he became a hermit. It was created after the Greek alphabet, and in the order of it. Only, there are some additional letters in Armenian which are placed more near the end. Greek: Α α, Β β, Γ γ, Δ δ, Ε ε, ... Armenian: ա, բ, գ, դ, ե... The song is performed by: Anna Margaryan, Tereza Nacharyan, violins; Gor Hovhannisyan, viola; Armine Petrosyan, cello Our coming concert is on May 24, in Yerevan, you are welcome to attend it! I hope to put a new song after it. We also perform a new work there, by Haro Stepanian; a world premiere of a work written in 1940! I found it's manuscript in some library here. Best Regards, Gor
