GLI INVINCIBILI 3 This is a message to all our fans that follow us on the ‘Numberone music’ website.

GLI INVINCIBILI 3 Roby della Casa (composer, guitarist, vocalist) Maria Teresa Bardini (lead vocalist) Bruno Cheli (composer, keyboard, mandolin guitar) This is a message to all our fans that follow us on the ‘Numberone music’ website. Firstly, we can’t thank you enough for your support. The appreciation you show time after time for our music is a great incentive for us to continue producing ever inspiring songs.Thank you! We owe it to you to brief you on who we are and our background. Over the years, my wife Teresa and I along with our musical partner, have produced many unreleased demos recorded at home using the little technology we had as we couldn’t afford an expensive recording studio. We simply made music for the sheer pleasure of it, without having to comply to the norms of the music industry which is a sea of sharks - I will explain later. Between 2003 and 2007 we recorded on and off under the name of Prophetizz. In 2000, at the Midem in Cannes, the three of us met a Swiss producer (whose name I won’t mention) who was interested in our music. He played our music in a prestigious recording studio in Munich where famous groups like Enigma, Hanson and many more have emerged from. This recording studio was very interested in our music project. The Swiss producer, unknowingly to us, signed a contract with this recording studio to record our first professional album. He took the whole thing lightly and didn’t bother consulting with us, the people concerned, but only said it was an opportunity of a lifetime for us. We naively went along with it as we were full of enthusiasm and had faith in the producer and the renowned studio and signed a tying contract which turned out to be the beginning of the end. To record our album, another two musicians who were the producer’s friends joined our band to give Prophetizz a touch of folk. There would be so many things to say but to cut a long story short, almost at the end of the recording, the Swiss producer didn’t respect the agreement with the recording studio and didn’t pay them what he owed. As coproducer of the Prophetizz project, he should have paid the sound technicians but didn’t, so we had a non-defined mastered record that was owned by the studio. The producer was paid off with very little money and we were stuck in limbo thanks to an inept producer and an avid and inhumane studio who were authentic music gangsters. The studio was only interested in selling us to the highest bidder, many record labels came to the studio wanting to negotiate our master record and scission of the contract but the studio, or who was acting on their behalf, asked for exorbitant prices for an unknown band. In the end a record label from Milan bought the recording rights of Prophetizz but things went from bad to worse as the label went bankrupt for tax fraud and the album was never released. This experience deeply damaged us over the years to follow, creative talent isn’t enough. Call it bad luck if you like, if you are born financially deprived and you are not privileged, you have no way of defending yourself and you fall into the hands of people with no qualms. The saddest thing is that it leaves a bitter taste despite the fact that from this experience we recorded an album that for us at least, was greatly inspired and innovative. In the right hands, it could have become an international hit. Instead, it was a 7 year inferno of rage, frustration but overall a feeling of overwhelming impotence, enough to put you off making music. The Prophetizz band split up, but in 2010, two years after having licked its wounds, Teresa and I formed a ‘Santabanero’ duo and made a great album inspired by Brazilian music and its ethnic latin spirit. This was produced in Germany by a brilliant producer, Frankie Cinaski, who covered all the expenses himself. He looked after us well but could only go so far. In fact, because of a limited budget for the production he is at present still having difficulties, he has no record label to promote or distribute the work. The album was never officially released. Bruno tried his luck as a soloist (mandolin man) with a project called ‘Oasi’ but it wasn’t very successful as he too had an incapable and dishonest producer and so the project never took off. In 2013, during the San Remo Song Festival (which we didn’t take part in), we performed at the ‘Palafiori’ where we improvised one of my songs ‘Faccia come il culo’ (‘Bare-faced cheek’). An independent TV channel filmed us and made a video. A few months later, Bruno uploaded the video on YouTube and a year later told us that an American website (Numberone music), had contacted him in connection to the video and song which they had liked very much and they wanted to know if we had more songs. In 2016, the three of us signed up to the ‘Numberone music' website as ‘Gli Invincibili 3’ and are still registered as such. This is the current situation: Teresa and I are living in Liguria, Italy near the French border. Bruno lives in Germany but we keep in touch weekly. Currently we are not working, not because we don’t want to but because we don’t have the money to record our music in a professional recording studio. We can’t play live because we haven’t got a backing group since musicians also need paying quite rightly and we have no record label either. The only assets we have are our songs. We would like to thank the ‘Numberone Music’ website. We want our music to become as widespread as possible in the hope that among our fans there will be someone in the music industry that takes an interest and who can help us to make our dream come true. A heartfelt thanks to all our marvellous fans, keep following us. Thanks. Roby, Teresa and Bruno:Gli Invincibili 3
