    The Adam Smith Theatre

United Kingdom, kirkcaldy , Bennochy Rd, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1ET
Starring Glenn Macnamara, the UK's finest swing singer.

On March 14th 1986, Frank Sinatra – having made Las Vegas his kind of town – packed his things and headed east. Meadowlands in New Jersey (the state that could boast being the place Ol’ Blue Eyes called home) was where he came to play a concert that the rest of the world called a Homecoming. These were his people. He had achieved so much; won awards, fame, wives and more but now he was back. It was to be one of the great man’s greatest nights.

Now, over thirty years later, the The Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy is proud to announce its own homecoming. Glenn Macnamara, born and bred right here and is now considered by many as Britain’s finest swing singer brings his debonair charm, silky voice and brilliant band to us for a show you won’t want to miss.

Yes, we did say Britain’s best swing singer. Don’t believe us? Perhaps you’ll believe Time Out magazine in London because that’s exactly what they called him and - having seen him enthral audiences with a voice and act that evokes memories of a time when bands were big and swing was king - who could blame them?

In England’s capital alone, Glenn has performed in front of royalty at Hampton Court Palace whilst entertaining those lucky to catch his show at The Dorchester & Savoy Hotels. These are just a few of the venues to be wowed by Glenn’s unique style.

Further afield, Glenn has taken his talent all over the world including Malaysia, the PPI Music awards in Ireland and Italy where he shared a stage with Sinatra’s guitarist Lino Patruno. Not only that, but those lucky enough to sail the seas on the planet’s most prestigious cruises have enjoyed Glenn’s charismatic renditions of swing and jazz classics.

But now, like Sinatra in ’86, Glenn is home and ready to perform for you all. So, join us, don't miss this exciting talent and his wonderful big band for a night of smooth entertainment that will have you singing along and wanting more.
