About Gilley Wiltz

Gilbert “Gilley” Wiltz was born on October 30, 1963, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He grew up in Cypress Island, La. Gilley started singing at a very young age; he was surrounded by a family of singers and musicians. His family was his first inspiration to start sharing his musical talent. He grew up singing in the church choir and in the family cotton fields. He was also inspired by a nun Sister Anastasia in the 2nd grade. Gilley also participated in various talent shows including The World Famous Amateur Night at the Apollo; where he was a three time winner. He’s a singer, songwriter, and entertainer. His silky smooth voice presents his audience with an inner warm sensation. Gilley is also the former lead vocalist of the band Krossfyre. (South Louisiana Party Band). He sings at weddings, funerals, athletic functions, as well as festivals around the state of Louisiana.

Gilley has collaborated with local artist including Mike Lockett, Roi “Chip” Anthony, Vess G, Russell Cormier, Anthony Doopsie, Curly Taylor and many more……………….. He’s opened shows for artists such Bobby Bland, Millie Jackson, Jeffrey Osborne, Maze, Con Funk Shun, and many more.

In March 2015, Gilley released and sold his first two singles “She’s All” & "Love's Fever" He’s constantly working in the studio on more music that will speak to you.

Gilley Wiltz is a silky smooth singer that captivates his audiences with a one of a kind voice. When he sings his voice can make your grey skies blue and make the sun shine for you on a rainy day. Gilley is the south’s balladeer.

Gilley released his new CD entitled, “Rise of the Sleeping Giant” on February 5, 2016. This CD was created to show everyone the different sides of Gilley. Every track has its own personal feel.
