On Feb1, 1977, then again on Feb 13, 2017, Pueblo City Council authorized the song under the leadership of Council President Henry Reyes.. Presented to Council by local folk musician and Community Advocate,George Samaras, it enhances a Spirit of Community because of our mutual dependence on the Arkansas River.
