This song written by Brian Richie and Doyle Trantham w--as endorsed Feb 7, 1977 by the Pueblo City Council as an Anthem for Pueblo and the Arkansas Basin Region. A Song Contest for the Selection of a New Anthem will be announced on Jan 1, 2017.Feb. Then in February @ J Micheal's on Union Tuesday evening Open Mike Nights will be dedicated to hearing and listening to performance submission of songs by composers by George Samaras/ The Anthem Project for the new City and County Anthem Quarter Finals will take place the 3rd and 4th Week of Feb. Finals will take place the 3rd and 4th week of March, 2017 @ the BluesAle House. The Selected Anthem will be DEBUTED on April 22, 2017 Earth Day Sol A Fair Event @ Pueblo City Park.
