We're still chugging along on the new EP. We ran into a few delays due to real life issues but other than that I'm really looking forward to getting the new material out. All originals and we have a lot of tabled material we'll be revisiting for the next project. We're hoping to have it out by the end of this year. Thanks for subscribing!Read more
I had our first full working session with the full band earlier today. I gotta say I'm pretty psyched on the material we're working on and we even noodled on some stuff we're going to pin for a future project. Everyone is contributing, motivated and it's progressing really good! Yes, a band. I now have a bass player, and an additional guitarist to add color and beef up the rhythm. We have more than enough for a full-fledged LP but we're keeping the focus down to 5 songs tops. We have a band name as well but we're waiting to make sure it's available
We're going to move the EP release date to the end of summer as opposed to June. I might post a teaser video of our next working session in the next couple of weeks so you can get a sneak preview of the songs we're working on that haven't been posted anywhere online.
Thanks again for subscribing to my newsletter and following me! None of this wouldn't have happened without realizing there was a potential audience out there! Thanks!
Just started fleshing out the songs with a drummer today for the upcoming EP. With as many original songs I threw at my drummer today it might evolve into a full-fledged LP. At any rate some of the songs on the EP are ones I haven't uploaded here yet. Thank you for your support! This has really driven me to get these songs out!Read more
Just a quick update; I'm still plugging away on the EP project. I found a really good drummer and we've been working on 2 songs, "Descent" and "Trail of Tears." This release which hopefully will be wrapped up in June will have some songs that I haven't posted here. I really appreciate my growing list of subscribers and was pretty psyched to see I finally landed one in my home state of Oregon. Stay tuned and thanks!Read more
Greetings! I'm looking forward to 2019 as I'll be knee deep working on my first EP of about 4-5 songs. I got a bass guitar for Christmas, a couple of drummers lined up to contribute to the project, and a recording engineer to master it. So it'll be a lot more than just guitar tracks, and if all goes well I'll be singing on it as well (I probably sing better than I play guitar). The emails and messages I've received from this site have definitely fueled me to finally commit to an EP and I can't thank you all enough. Have a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2019!Read more
