As of right now Fist Funk Fury is on hold. Marcus Quinn(Lead Singer) has left the band due to him not showing up for 1500 person show. But we are currently holding auditions for new lead singers in the Chicagoland area.
So anyone with a voice can audition. If you know someone send them our way. We have space for them as well in our band house, if moving is a concern.
We'll be back with news on the new member of Fist Funk Fury next year.

We just got done playing a little acoustic jam of this song for Flabby Hoffman radio show in Chicago....and wow. It was amazing. The whole radio crew was singing along throwing there fists up on the chorus. But how true this anthem is for our time. As it being one of our new songs it is yet unrecorded, but hopefully will be available sometime soon.
As for anyone in the Chicago area were having a little get together for this topic.

So yeah that title sucked. But we just wanted to keep everyone up to date on what Fist Funk Fury is up to. Right now we are preparing for a show in Chicago at a great spot Livewire Lounge Chicago Friday 12/12/14 doors at 8pm for those of you in Chicago. And for everyone else not to worry. We are currently working on our new album Sex and Politics(name is in progress suggestions?). The tracking is already done...awesome. But we need to do the mixing and mastering next, which is extremely expensive...like $10thousand to $15thousdand dollars. So just be patient.
In the meantime while we try and scrape up enough money to give y'all this fucking great album, swing on by (expired link) and check out our tune The Rush. It's a great song that I personally love to play.
Oh and last night while occupying the wee hours of the am, I noticed that Trouble is a great song to knock boots to.

Their first time together writing was remarkably quick and easy. It resulted in 15 songs being written in 3 weeks, and then practiced until perfection settled in.
