Much enjoyed

I'm not usually a big fan of ukulele, mainly because most songs that I've heard it in don't really suit the sound of a ukulele, or the instrument is not recorded well or sometimes even played all that well. However in this song I really enjoyed that particular element, and with the combined sound of the bass and percussion etc it really brought the track to life! And the vocals were lovely as well! Very well done I was not sure if I'd like this at first but was pleasantly surprised! Great job, keep it up :) xo Rebecca Boux-singer/songwriter - BC, Canada

Nice Vibe!!!

I really like the vibe of this song its steady pace and upbeat tempo makes it really fun to dance to. The lyrics are well written and very catchy plus the guitarist is super as well as the other backing musicians. Overall very good song!

Cool Song!

Hello, this is a very good composition in my opinion. I like it really very much. The guitar works good together with your voice-> keep rocking on so far. Greetings from Germany Judith Müller

Nice beat, but the song needs a hook. A good song has a memorable tune in the verse, a chorus - sometimes a bridge. This song has rhythm that goes along with the lyrics, rhythmic strumming and steady percussion (sticks on the rim) but it desperately needs a lingering melody.

I must say I was really impressed ! The music flowed smoothly, nice changes to a different key, If my opinion means anything at all I would consider trying to raise your voice more often to bring more emotion out! The lyrics are certainly good and the music is certainly good, keep playing and enjoy the music as it is intended to be,I noticed you have a lot of the formula down for a viable commercial success !! I feel you have an familiar yet original sound ! Keep posting and have a nice Thanksgiving !!

Cool and sultry jazz

Eves sultry voice punches out the lyrics with attitude in this jazzy tune. The instrumentals are simple and give greater accent to her lyrics. Sounds like a perfect tune for a band to play on the beach on a summer evening or the radio at night, driving downtown. Very cool!

Nice rolling rhythm

I liked this song, some sound lyrics and a lovely rolling rhythm that carries it along. The interplay between the drums and guitar at the start is really cool. The pacing of the lyrics, and the contrast between searching and seeking to stop is also really good.

"Skipping Stones"

Hey out there! Really enjoyed listening to your song. Sounds very original and would be awesome to listen to it live one day. Great sounding vocals, mixed with a good choice and well played instruments. Perfect for a little bar or a chilly club. Congrats to this great piece of music, keep up that excellent work. It's worth to give it a listen. Best regards from Austria, Christoph.

Fun Organic Song

Ukulele drives this fun light song about skipping stones. Drums and bass are very 1060s retro and this makes it fun. Nice bass lines, drum fills and a steady ukulele strum keep it driving. Eve Alman has a sweet and compelling voice that makes you want to listen a few times. I enjoyed this talented artist and am looking forward to hearing more from her.

This is a really good song. I love the lyrics and beat. It's relaxing and yet mysterious at the same time. I think it's a great song and I will listen to it again. It's one of those songs that helps me to see life as it is.

Great Song Eve!!!

I first would like to say that I really enjoyed listening to this track, I've listened to the track a couple times and each time, I heard another element that I missed during the first listen. The production, recording and presentation of this record was well put together. Eve you did a great job here; your voice is like water, its soothing to listen to, and your songs can be played anywhere at anytime. I personally see myself listening to this record on my way to Pismo Beach. You also did a great job with the layering the different instruments; the guitar, the ukulele, and the banjo, the percussion and bass all meshed together really well. You really have a gift! Keep up the great work!!!!

Great imagery in these lyrics, so relaxing and inspiring these lyrics with deep meaning for a new awakening in the Spiritual Realms. Breathing in the new rare air of freedom is what your song speaks to me. I also loved the introduction which called to mind the 70's style of acoustic rock such as Cat Stevens and many others who wrote such songs evocative of emotions and spiritual journeys to yet be pursued. Yet so unique with your own stamp on it. I love your voice which is so rich reminding me of Carole King. The guitar instrumental reminds me of South of The Border Tex Mex Jams. Thank you! I look forward to hearing more of your sounds.

Gentle melody that pleases the ears

Nice tune has a great build to the melody with carefree vocals and lyrics that resonate with the feel of the track. The track would benefit from a professional studio recording which could help progress the song to a whole new level. All songs need a solid basis and this track has the cornerstones in place.

Eve Alman brings us Skipping Stones, an acoustic offering in the vein of R.E.M. in their heyday with their hit The One I Love. Of course the only similarity are the mandolins and the rhythm/tempo. But the similarity in sound is there none the less. From a listener's perspective is has its good points. From a producers standpoint the vocals were done in too much of a relaxed voicing... it deserved a little bit more tension to allow the moments to further build. But it was a decent attempt.

Beautiful voice.

The first thing that grabbed me when I heard this song was the wonderful bass line, I knew I was in for a treat. Then when Eve started singing I was totally impressed and immediately thought of Sade and thats not to take anything away from her beautiful voice. Great song and a great performance.
