80s sound

Hello, I really liked your song, you can see the influence of the 80s, there is something in the sound that makes me remember between Bowie and and more recently the weekend, I'm sure you like both, it seems that they were groups that influence you. The song is good, it has a solid chorus that works perfectly, for a moment it made me remember a party in Mexico several years ago, in an unforgettable party in San Miguel de Allende for the Mexican national holidays, we were in a disco and in the second floor only listened to music from the 80s, and I personally love everything that comes from that time, congratulations. I invite you to listen to my music on spotify, you just have to look for me as Jorge Boig, surely there will be a song that you like. From Santiago de Chile I send you a big hug and blessings.

Keeping Distance Review

This is a different look for you and I like it. Has a little bit of a Peter Gabriel feel without trying to bite his work. All the music is great, I think Kenny Torres could put a little bit more emotion in it BUT he does a good job. Well crafted composition and excellent production. Well done!

Keeping Distance

Helpful

Keeping Distance featuring Kenny Torres, oh my word such a brilliant introduction, I love the way Erik chooses so many different styles to unveil his creations, as well as the variational audios he chooses, he has the ability to deploy the classical instrumentals and arrangements as well as doing things like this too, the percussion is beautiful and really totally compliments the unique voice of Kenny, I really like it. The arrangement is so enticing and relaxing without seeming repetitive or monotonous, but then I would never expect anything less inspirational from Erik-Peter. You have to hold up your hand and admit the studio work on theses tracks and albums is perfect, the engineering remarkable which can make or break a song, as usual it makes it here. another great composition in every respect.

don't wanna be distant from this one

Hey i love this song. the beat is bouncy and fun , something that is sorely needed in these times of pandemic.I especially love the reggaeish feel to the beat , very carribean feel . Danceabe to the max, a beat that bouncy is an instant dance floor filler, no lie . You hear that come on , and bang , gotta get up and move. Would love to see this get a better production , so it would really go over on commercial radio ,it's that hot of a track ... real good work on this one.

Stay 6' Away, Sir!

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song - an electronic 80's throwback perhaps reckoning back to a Peter Gabriel feel. I would love to hear this with a remix and faster beat - I think this would be great for dance parties - you know, after the Distance is Done.

Slow Jam Groove!!

Helpful

This song is a groove that serves two purposes: Touching on the pandemic, channeling artistry and loneliness while also being a love song that drips with longing for someone. I can hear the influences of Peter Gabriel or Steve Winwood, and that by no means is a bad thing. This is definitely one to listen to over and over again. Great work indeed

good music

the sound is nice and the recording quality is also good. I would rather use some more realistic insturmeents to improve the quality of the track. But anyway you've done a good job. carry it on :D

Very Good Production, But Does Not Give Me A Kick

Helpful

Good produced, traditional songwriting. Vocals remind me on Peter Gabriel, sung relaxed, leaned back. In some parts I have the feeling that the singer is just doing his job but without enthusiastic engagement. Well, nice production, for me the kick is missing. Like an ironed shirt, perfect, good and ok. Not more. To say it mathematically: 98% and as we know the last percentage is the hardest. So my rating is 4.5. Work on your vocal performance to reach 5.0. There is potential. That's my input.

Title: "My Heart is with You" => Happy Movie Ending Song

This composition start off with a nice tweak to it and the vocal kicks in and is very upbeat in it execution. This song has all of the right parts to it! The verse and chorus are very well done. The vocals are all spot on and need no work. The composition and arrangement are perfect. The only thing that **MUST** be done is to eliminate the MIDI (Midi is a killer and instantly recognizable) elements and replacing them with real organic sampled instruments. This will make the song Radio Ready! Awesome Song!

Brilliant sound of music

The intro starts off with harmonical keyboard tunes but the whole composition is more various. Versatile sound arrangement with flute and harp brings increasing feel into the song. Sounds really beautiful together and creates a great space in the backing. Impressive lyrics and the chorus come from the heart and touching the soul. Kenny Torres sings with a great unique voice making this wonderful composition complete. He has a clear vocal projection and brings additionally beauty into the song. The perfect elaborated keyboard sounds have symphonical character and forcing the music constantly on a higher level. The soft electronic drum beat and the bass-line increases the music, too. Overall professional digital mixed and mastered song could be a radio hit and additional used for film-score. Listen to the song and I´m sure you will like to add him. Let others know your recommendation.
