...conqVery nice and dramatic composition - very well performed - For a instrumental composition the music style is kind of special - very sophisticated but popular - Solo instruments are very well suited with arrangement which is very rich and beatiful with lot of very sophisticate well played instruments - In my opinion this composition have all attributes to be promoted - So go for it - This is great work - Keep on and do more of this fantastic music - Thank you I enjoy...
Cinematic scoreErik-Peter Mortensen has produced a sweeping cinematic piece entitled Conquered Heroes Await Execution. The work is reminiscent of other fine video game works. The percussion is crisp and the woodwind solos later on add a nice touch.
SoundtrackThis is a soundtrack music, well composed like the soundtracks in the movies we know. Big orchestra and the name says it's theme: Conquered Heroes Await Execution. They seem to run away or make it very difficult to be caught, in the first part. And then comes the tragic end. Very cool.
The art of musicIt could be that reading the title "Conquered Heroes Await Execution" influences one's imagination when listening to the music... or it is probably because the music does successfully paints the picture of conquered heroes being led to their execution. The use of dynamics from building up to the full orchestra sound on a steady sequence leading to silence and the use of the tritone successfully evokes the suspense and anticipation. This piece of work successfully does justice in creating the desired emotions in the mind of the listener.
What an Heroic musical accomplishment...This song is an explosion of excitement that shouts adventure, heroism and mystery. The progressive style tells a story that is adaptable for many scenarios. It has the flexibility to be considered for Movies, Television and Film. I particularly enjoyed how the fullness of the symphonic production had the power to musically bring a full steam locomotive to a beautiful and soothing pace which allowed our emotions to breathe. The song was well written and lived up to its title as you can envision a majestic battle which reveals a onetime defeat of heroes... The story has room to continue... Erik-Peter Mortensen, you did a wonderful job with this selection... Keep up the Great Work! I am Stan Barnes and I approve this review.
HelloAll Your Compositions ARE in High Category..This one is one of The Best One...You are making The Story without video ..see Music should PAINT THE PICTURE and Make People TO FEEL..I seeIt as a Part of some Oratorio or an Opera..is TO SHORT.. You just begin to share The Story...I Really think Someone should Write an Libretto for It...I Really like It.. I Think It should not have any Problems to be use on some Movie Set or Video...It has a STORY on It OWN.. Great Job...
Wow!I really love it! But I have to admit that this is as good in a movie than in a game. The instrumental is off he hook! I love the added vocals. That part just brought it to another level. You did awesome with it. So creative!
HiFinally thanks to You I was able to hear a GOOD Music..I do not see any problems to pitch It to some Movie Studio or put It as a bigger part of some Symphony for a Major Concert Hall with Good Orchestra..I listen It 3 times and always able to found some new element.. Good Job.. I wish You Luck with submissions and looking forward to hear more.. Great arrangement.. Please next time make It a little longer ( for me)...
Conquered Heroes Await ExecutionThe title doesn't seem to match the mood of the piece. That being said, it has the nice intensity of an opening introduction piece or a chase scene. Has a little bit of the old style Mission Impossible to it. Nice piece.
Conquered Heroes Await ExecutionAmazing, I could almost see them struggling to defend their people and being overcome by their enemies, being captured, being held and taken to their fate. I could feel the sadness and depression they were feeling when they realized there was no hope for them. Just waiting for their death. Amazing music, congratulations!
Death and RedemptionFrom the very start I felt the power of the music announcing something powerful. Yet this power soon becomes perverse and the sense of chaos, struggle and tension takes over. Finally I could feel the atmosphere changing and the thunderous night give way to the soothing heavens awaiting the return of their heroes. Sadness filled me by the end. A wonderful piece
Very NiceQuite a catching piece of music, nice blend of instruments, chorus and the pauses merging well towards the main theme..The gradual ascent in the pitch and tempo right at the beginning makes a good foundation, and the end is tailed quite smoothly with a dramatic finish of chorus and the spiritual pause.
Conquered Heroes Await Execution ReviewI hope you are speaking to video game companies about your music. It has a sound that sounds a lot like a video game music score. Well done. I like the way you build with the instrumentation!
C.H.A.E.Put this guy in a film! This is classic film tension/drama cue material.Kind of "Mission Impossible" vibe, but with an ascending minor chord pattern, adding some forward motion feel. There are mallets to add to the quirky tympani beatsThere are some horn and drum flourishes, for contrast, and an ending that features Gregorian style choir and church bells.there is dissonance, tension, and a dark vibe.(kind of like the title)Well done!
