Ave Verum Corpus Review
I just say WOW. I totally Love the harmony. The vocals touched my emotions. The Mix down is very great. I don't understand the language. On the other hand, the whole song sounds out standing. When I close my eyes and listen, I can picture the vocalist being on a very huge stage singing in front of thousands of people. I found myself humming along with the song after listening to the song twice in a row. I know you will go very very far in your music career. YOu already have gained a fan here. Thank you for sharing your music with me. YOur music is very inspirational for me. Please keep up the great musical work. Do you have any music online other than here that I may be able to purchase? Thanks again. Butch Beats

I liked this singing harmonizing of voices. It reminded me a little of Gregorian chanting. My mom would say in acceptance lies peace. This song reminded me of being taken into the presence of The Lord Jesus after my earthly sojourn is over. Peace.

Classical chant - beautiful voices
I like the classical chant. It is beautifully written and gives us a sensaton of peace and quieteness. Well composed, great singging, the voices are wonderful and the timing and phrasing are very good. The piece is written with enough space, which allows the music breathes. I honestly can say I am expecting to listen more! Please continue working on this genre.
Wow man is all I can say! Your harmonies are out of this world and perfect! Your annunciations and it reminds me of Fields of Gold In choir form I love this soooo much like I have chills listening to this... Amazing sir really amazing

Ave Verum Corpus: William Byrd - Review
Thank you again for asking me to review your music. A very nice vocal harmony. I enjoy great Classical music and a good vocal section. The harmonies are very soothing and have a great blend of tones and clarity which is very important when singing and with great diction. I would imagine this in a movie setting of a reverent setting during a serious moment. Very weill done! All the best!

Fine vocal piece
New York composer Erik-Peter Mortensen has written a fine vocal work entitled Ave Verum Corpus: William Byrd. The performance by the ensemble is most excellent. The work is relaxing and soothing. Bravo once again!

Ave Verum Corpus: William Byrd is a piece for connoisseurs, the atmosphere that is created by the set of voices is very special and not for all, so we must be predisposed to accept certain melodies created only with the voice. you breathe spirituality, solemnity. devotion and profound respect for a superior personality who is otherworldly. I would say that it is a masterpiece of its kind and that I would like to use these voices on compositions like soundtracks. It could be possible?
Great composition, polyphony, and medieval style piece. Professional performance of tenor and bass voices. However, It would be beneficial to include different kinds of rhythms and not only long notes such as quavers and semiquavers. An inspiration could be Mozart's Requiem. But obviously, the melody adopts the middle ages period music such as Machuat's one.
This piece was very soothing to the ear and left a nice melodic message. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this beautiful song. I wasn’t quite sure of the language but that didn’t matter because the harmonies and presentation was spot on. This brought great vision and love into the imagination and was a joy to hear!! Keep writing fabulous music like this and I will continue to listen... beautiful work my friend!!

Very well done . Some interesting things in there, great use of counterpoint species, wonderful depiction of the classical style. The recording is clear and well mixed, the reverb sounds pretty much like a decent hall or church, and the levels seemcorrect. Very nice composition and product overall.

Clean Classical Composition
Erik recorded a very clean sound that captured the precision of the vocal harmonies. This sound is what we would expect from music in movies or public events in large venues. Nice work by all involved. Great production. Thanks for sharing. John

I am always happy to review Erik Peter Mortenson who has such a range of music he produces. This was a lovely interpretation of Byrd and I am pretty sure it was sung rather than played, beautiful tonalities and perfect flow. Really nice a piece to create a feeling of calm and peace in these very mad times we are living in! I felt a feeling of wellbeing after listening to it. Very nice
