Beautiful Organ Playing

Helpful

Lovely to hear such a diverse range of classical music performed with real heart and soul not pseudo emotion. I really hope that Eric receives the recognition he deserves, the playing is really beautiful and has a real flow to it. There is no one who if they gave the music a chance could not be moved by it which is why this music has lasted for hundreds of years. First rate!

it's nice to be reminded that once created a genre of music will live forever. the old and the ever being created new sounds. this piece contain a church organ dueting with a beautiful female voice. It sounds as if you were sitting in a large European church listening to an organ with very large pipes. At first listen I am reminded of Bach. at moments the piece gets very complex and moves into the polyphonic realm. if you enjoy classical music you should enjoy this piece

Chorale Prelude

Wow wasn’t quite prepared for the opening stanza it very nearly blew me off my chair, that really set the scene but my oh my once the vocal kicked in it was ultimately crystal clear that the production team and the engineers knew precisely what they were doing. The vocal was completely stand out and at no time during this performance was it overawed or overshadowed by the instrumentals. The vocalist had a wonderfully masterful range and complex abilities in controlling sounding volume and vibrato in a self accomplishing delight. C Minor is a rare commodity for me as a guitarist but even on such a stringed instrumental it is a beautiful key. I loved this and so eagerly recommend this to anyone looking and thinking oh I’m not sure about chorale music. This will blow your mind, it’s hard to imagine just how anyone could not recognise or appreciate the brilliance of this performer and the overall performance and recording

A fine Xmas setting

New York composer/arranger Erik-Peter Mortensen has successfully arranged a popular Christmas song for female voice accompanied by organ. The organ part is especially well done filling in the spaces between stanzas.

You surprise me again..I was expecting a Only Organ Solo..and You just put Two in One..it will be a good Idea to record one as an Organ Instrumental Only..and keep this Version for Special Events..not to many Composers are able to mix a Christmas Song with Classical Style Organ Play..nice combination I Really like It a lot... if You will record It again..Please add a Bass Pedal it will add More Power...I picture This in on some Pipe Organ in Big Cathedral .. You did a Great Job...Good Luck..I hope to hear It on The Radio in December.. and I think that some Music Publisher will like to hear It..

Here is a another great piece by Erik-Mortensen. This piece is a Christmas piece variant of We Three Kings that gets you into the spirit of Christmas. It has a nice organ melody and a female solo vocalist. It has Bach feel to this inviting piece. This has a warm feel to the tone of the season that brings gifts of its own. This well performed with a nice blend that will bring a warmth during the season. Well done!

The song is interesting. Good dialog and contrast between the instrumental and the vocal part. It mixes, as is evident, Bachian Baroque elements and modern elements. Modern elements insinuate themselves especially in the space left to the voice. Good quality work It is a pity for recording and mastering, they could be better
