Erik-Peter Mortensen / Bach to the Future / Christmas Fugue in F#-Hark The Herald Angels Sing-Organ Mix

An interesting Take On The Idea Of A Fugue

Nice playing and a well constructed fugue. Erik is clearly an accomplished organist. This worked very well and was pleasing to listen to. I wasn't clear what kind of organ it was being played. I would enjoy an album of fugues from Peter.

Fugue

Bit of a late seasonal view being as I wasn’t here in December or at the time of Christmas I wasn’t able to comment or be in position to review this. I live a good Fugue sounds mind come to mind and mmenory. Pageant like, would not have been taken out of place in somewhere heraldic celebration at Westminster Abbéy at the end of a major royal Christmas celebration by the Royal family nodding and waving in appreciation of their subjects as they process to their awaiting carafes. Really great production played with the majestic swell of musical notes instrumentalised on the swell stops of the great organ. Well done

A Real Garden of Joy

Listening to Mortensen you notice the solid classical fundations of his work, full of creativity in reporting to ancient times. The battles, the plagues, the aesthetic and mainly the atmosphere of Moyen Age et Renaissance. I believe he is in a huge process of evolution and soon we will hear from him, as a prominent soundtrack composer in different genres. His recognition is a product of a hard work and due to his deep talent. Keep on moving, you deserves the best!

Calm,Melodic and Classical

Great music with a soothing tone One love and melodic sound also nice background music. Very calming, Can imagine it being used to film tracks If the song has an intro, what do you think of it? Some intros are atmospheric and capture your imagination from the start or they establish a good beat that sets up the song. They do what an intro is supposed to do: lead into the song naturally. Some intros you hear don't do that but instead lead awkwardly into the main part of the song. If there's nothing special about the intro, then there's no need to comment on it.If the song has an intro, what do you think of it?
