A really lovely fugue beautifully played and constructed. Is there no end to Mr Mortensen's talents. Beautiful classical guitars presumably on keyboards. Very easy to listen to to chill out after a busy day. Lovely!

New York composer Erik-Peter Mortensen keeps churning out creative works like the Fugue in B minor- Gilligan’s Island. He has cleverly arranged the popular 1960’s TV show theme into a work for guitar quartet. Would be great to hear this on guitars rather than their synthesizer facsimile!

Wow! What a great theme for a fugue. This amazingly well composed and conceived. It brims with joy and excitement like Bach visiting the 21st century and very excited to have seen a TV. What ever happened to our wigs on that desert island?, he might well ask.

This is a lovely song with spinet piano. It is reminiscent of the medieval period when this style of performance was popular. It find of feels like Gilligan if he was a jester during courtesan times. Nice tune!

Welcome back to XIXth century! I think this could have been written for harpsichords some centuries ago. The melodies are nice and everything sounds in a perfect harmony. There are many variations in the melodies make the piece lasting just the good and necessary time. The tune is playfull even though the piece is dominated by minor chords. And the final change to major is just perfect to conclude on this spirit. Nice work!

Love the rounds and the movement of the chords using the correct pivot points to have the minor interpetation of the motifs throughout the baroque style fugue . I am assuming this was done on a keyboard or a guitar synth which constricts the dynamic range and loses some of performance nuances.That being said it is a well done piece of music that has a sense of humor that's very appealing in a genre that is usually lacking in that. except for iconoclasts such as P.D.Q. Wonderful composition in a baroque style like the fugues of J. S. Bach. Very clean the style and outstanding interpretation, with mastery and perfection. I enjoyed very much the sound and the severity of the composition and in addition the development of the fugue and the tension in the middle. Great resolution at end. Amazing! Congratulations!
