A Fine SongThis is an excellent choice. The key to doing a good cover version, particularly a well known song like this one, is to add something to the song and to not just do a carbon copy of the original. This has been achieved with this version. I particularly like the guitar solo. Good harmonica playing and vocals, too. Interesting addition of Amazing Grace and the song doesn't run for too long, unlike a lot of the songs on numberonemusic. Keep up the good work.
Sun SetOne of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song a rehash of a classic that I wonder when we'll finally have enough remakes to last a lifetime. Emma delivers proof a widely different interpretation can be fresh and new.
Fresh twist on a very old standard!Nice cover .. Different approach, different instrumentation! Sounds great! Like the harmonica work and guitar. Vocals are nice. Would have like to have heard full band compliment with this arrangement and some backup vocals.. All in all a very nice track. Congratulations!
abother fave of the an malsi would sincerely love to hear this lady with a full band and all the bell with a cranked up bass and rev on the vocals and b4 haamond would be killer in concert maybe even better thsan eric and the animals this chick has a voice you can tell but she holds if back alot cuz the production but ill bet she can belt like you know what if she wants to janie g
Too jerkyThe song does not flow as it should as she sings in fits and starts. However, she does has a really good voice that might suit other songs better. The backing is rather good all round with excellent guitar and just the right amount of harmonica. At the end of the day, however, she is not quite capable of bursting any balloons in my humble opinion. I hope that I am entirely mistaken.
