First impression a well written and arranged song with a good lyric structure. The melodic line is easily recognizable through out and a great hook line snd chorus gives it that popular mass appeal. If you wish to publish or market the song to a label, you could consider the following suggestions A) the vocalist needs to hone in on the melody further so the audience can 'catch' the melody (Topline) with ease - so hitting the notes spots on throughout phasing especially vocal runs; B) vocal projection could be a little clearer or it might just be the mixing of the track C) try some 3 part block harmonies through out the song and leave the Adkins for the altro/ending of the song the current arrangement of the harmonies is making the song sound a little 'muddy' -so less is more comes to mind - simplify the harmonies once you have relaid the lead track D) to me the song has a cross soulful/pop/pseudo-country feel which makes it a track with a strong USP - therefore on the instrumental arrangement side you have a much stronger beat/drum arrangement to drive the song and for the audience E) who ever is mixing the song - indicate the music to have a more brighter, stronger feel and not over compress or subdue the track it should enhance the overall meaning of the song and give it a stronger identity - might be worth investing in a really good mixer maybe try someone outside of the genre like a dance/club mixer not to change the genre its great as it is but to pump up the song and fill it out including bringing up the levels of the lead VOX a little in the mix D) when the track goes for mastering make sure the engineer does not overdo it on compression etc

This track begins in a very catchy melody and the production quality is really good, my interest was peaked immediately as the singer began. the lyricism is pleasant and the singing is soulful and heartfelt. i overall really liked the song, different feel for my morning taste as well as just a good sounding record. would love to hear or see the song performed live.

Great song! I like the whole structure of this tune; the slow build up, and the rich vocals. Production-wise, the tracks are all fantastic, and the singin' is suh-weet! Probably if it was me doing the production I would look into a different mastering plant, but other than that, I really loved this! (And I'm just being picky, here...) Nicely done, Babiegirl!

Hi Babieqirl yes I think up to your other songs I have reviewed this is middle of the road--not to say it's not good it's just not great just like some of the songs I produce I know when it is a B side and not an A side track. But on some songs I'm wrong because they get a lot of plays--but I know the pro's won't give it a play.
