There will be a new single released very soon. Once again the new single “Stay” is being produced by Tim Steinruck at 26-8 Music Inc. in Coquitlam, British Columbia. I would recommend them to anyone. As many of you know I have been working with a vocal coach. Jan Cooper is a fantastic vocal coach and mentor who has worked with hundreds of men, women and children to improve their singing ability, stage presence, just about every aspect of performing is covered. Jan has worked with many many artists including the group LoverBoy and also Whitesnake. I have been working with Jan for quite some time now and the experience has been very rewarding. I must say that people have noticed that my voice has improved very noticeably!! We meet once a week and I look forward to it every week!! If you have children or know someone with children who might be interested in some vocal training this is the man to talk to. Amazingly friendly and very inexpensive, especially considering his qualifications!!

 We are starting a of Gordon Lightfoot tribute show. Watch for them and come on out for a night of great music!! Keep your ear to the ground for more updates with regard to these shows. I will have locations, show times and ticket prices for you asap! The newest cover was uploaded to N1M today, it is The Beatles song “Rocky Raccoon”. When we uploaded “With a little help from my friends” it features John on harmonies and Johns daughter Cecilia on flute. The amazing thing is that it was recorded 12 years ago. When I first heard the recording I started singing along to it and we discovered that John was singing the lower harmonies! We took the original recording and tracked it and then we added the lead vocals, drums and bass. Cecilia’s flute can be heard in the chorus of the song. I have since heard “Rocky Raccoon” which features Cecilia on vocals. You can hear it on N1M and also SoundCloud and also on DustyMarcus.com. As many of you know I will be flying out to British Columbia tomorrow. I will be in the studio at 26-8 Studios in Coquitlam, BC, Canada recording a new song and also filming a video. I will be taking video before and during the flight and also throughout my time in BC. We will be performing at the fundraiser for MS located at the Dorchester golf club in June. Please come on out and show your support, play a round of golf and enjoy a wonderful meal in Dorchester this summer!! I will include more details in the next newsletter.
