WOW!

I just don't hardly know what to say. Wow, this musical piece is AWESOME! Sets such a mood for a movie. To me it would be awesome in a Sci-Fi movie after a big event... when things are settling down...or when on a quest, in search of something. Just sets such a great vibe, and is calming at the same time. Good stuff. Best Wishes... Be sure to submit it to movie score sources, as maybe someone will take a listen. I believe they should. Great composition

This composition is very nice. I could hear this song on a movie soundtrack. As I am listening I am waiting for the climax of the song. Hey, where’s the climax? Even though the song is great, you should add just a tiny bit of excitement. Maybe an Orchestral crash here or there. Add some timpani’s give it that buildup. Then bring the listen back down. I hear so much more that you can add to this composition. Great job in the meantime. Keep on creating. And remember that music has no rules. Your creation can take the listeners anywhere. “It’s totally your creation”. Happy Holidays. Be safe and keep creating. Thank you from Butch Beats

The Flight of the Angels

Ethereal breathy pads swelling through the atmosphere. Leading you to the light at the end of your journey! Wonderful tonal production! The mix was well done, and nothing was too overpowering with the swells! Keep up the wonderful work! Bless up!

Really nice melancholy turning into all sorts of feelings, like sadness, glory, bliss, confusion, like a film of life. There should be a way to perform this by a string ensemble with 10 something players, hearing the horsetail of the arcos should be something special, and horns would be also awesome to record. Really moving arrangement playing around with jazz and classical. The director could get this tune and straight shoot the scene to it. Great skills at play but i guess i would love it to come out of the digital, i was missing some highs and lows strings and a trumpet to be honest, also the mixing could have been so much powerful and colorful but hey thats just me. Keep up the good work doc!

Journey of the five senses

A smooth string melody opens the door with a hint of strange, this continues through the piece, allowing light and shade to penetrate the mood. The heavy chords become more church like as the piece develops becoming lighter and smoother only then for the tune to back to dark. Very mysterious and enjoying.

Soothing, relaxed state....

Delicate is the nature and puts you in a calmness that's always desired. The production is very balanced and well thought out. Transitions are seamless and smooth. Very well though out production of ambient talent.

Man in the moon review

Really beautiful production. The song has a melancholy vibe with occasionally uplifting moments. The chord progressions and string section during the middle part of the piece is really superbly structured. I would recommend this for anyone wishing to lose themselves in their own thoughts.

Man in the Moon

though I always thought as a child that the Moon was a Lady, I defenitely believe that there IS a man in the moon, when I hear this lovely music. A gentleman. Decent, fashionable, well educated, artistic and kind, Modest but also very well mannered. Dreamy and respectful to others. Honest and melancholic. Entertaining and calming. Bright and fascinating. An introvert but very attractive piece of music. Love it.

Very good sounds. With a feeling of a positive touch! Atmospheric and with a good instrumentation. Also its melodic. The length of in this song is larger than the previous I've listened. This shows that the song has a lot to say!

Cosmic dream trip with "Fred Coles - Man in the Moon"

Fred Cole has created a wonderful piece of music with his new composition, which in my opinion bears the appropriate title "Man in the Moon". The chords with their warm tones float gently to the "man in the moon". Fred Cole takes your ear on an enjoyable journey to our satellite. I Highly recommend "Man in the Moon" for cosmic dream trips.

Man in the Moon

Yet another great piece from Fred Cole who always leaves me in calm relaxing mood after listening to the music created here.the blanket of sound sits nice in the mix as other elements of sound drift in and out of the song. All of these tones are subtle but add a large part to the overall dynamics of the piece. Give this a listen you will come away pleased and relaxed.

Fred and the moon....

Listening to Man in the Moon (I believe that the alternate title is Will I find love?) I really liked the tonal portrait of unresolved and then resolved suspensions... kind of like a searching feeling... Music must evoke.. and this does.. it takes you on the journey with Dr. Cole. The feeling of distance.. and yet closeness.. is there and it works. I would have given it a 5 except for the very last note.. :-( PS. I love Australia... wrote 2 anthologies about Oz...G'day!

This tune is very special. I closed my eyes and let myself be carried by the sounds. As it has no rythm, it makes an ambient of peace and solitude. A space to think deep into yourself. The disonances at the end are quite interesting and don´t bother at all when I was in tune with the music. They give some power that the absence of rythm takes away. When it finishes, after having my eyes closed during the whole piece, it is like an abrupt ending that makes you want to continue in that state of concentration, with your eyes closed.

Great start! I like the suspense and the easing sounds. At first I thought it was just an intro to a jazzy ballad or something, but then I got it: pure ambient music. But still listening with great interest (making some of it myself). I enjoy the harmonies and little/subtle pauzes and chord changes. Being halfway the song I kinda miss the real low end a bit. But the strings are beautiful and the tension is slowly building up, which is nice. Getting near the end my attention was a wee little less, but the harmonies intrigued me again. All in all: inspiring (made me wanna start a piece of ambient music again), soothing and beautifully done. Very good piece of music there. Wish you succes, Ronn van Etten

Review of Man in the Moon

Thank you for asking me to review your music. This piece starts off with a ambient pad sound that sound cosmic as if to take you to the outer regions. I would imagine myself in a spacecraft orbiting the the moon looking at the craters with the sun hitting the surface. There is a nice arrangement of string section that play in the middle with a soft texture that plays through out giving it a great feel of serenity. Nicely done!
