Rock’n’Roll spoken here! They say that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. So far that seems to be holding true with the Coronavirus hitting the US and causing havoc. Music is taking a big hit with the SXSW Festival in Austin being cancelled for the 1st time in 34 years as a precaution against the spread of the virus and there were the deadly tornados that struck Music City in Nashville last week adding to the mayhem. At least there’s a small silver lining in the dark clouds with the Mercury Retrograde ending this week, which should help to get communications back to normal. Hang in there and stay safe. NEW NEWS…The release of the new Better Day album has been keeping us busy since its release in late January. Worldwide Radio has been reacting to the Better Day single in a big way and the US release of the Better Day cd is set for April 17, in time for Record Store Day, which is the next day. Unfortunately, we are canceling plans for a CD Release Listening Party on Record Store Day due to concerns about the Coronavirus. It’s just too crazy right now and better to be safe than sorry. DownTown Mystic also had a successful return to Airplay Direct, the online radio platform, where the Better Day album was #7 last month on the APD Global Rock/AAA Chart and finished at #47 on the APD Top 50 Global Albums Chart, just 1 of 4 rock albums to make the chart.
