I want to Thank You all so much for listening to my music and those of you
who have given me feedback. Love to hear what you think about my songs.
I have 2 new songs for you to check out. Both of these tunes are getting some
interest for Licensing in film and TV.
The first one is called "I'll Take You Back". They like the relationship theme for
films. You can hear it here:
The other tune started out as a jingle, but we got so much positive feedback
on it that we turned it into a full song. It is called "Beautiful Day".
I'd love to hear your thoughts on these songs.
Have a Great Weekend. Oh, one more thing - please LIKE my FB page at:
Thanks again for listening to my music on #1 and helping me to get my songs to #1 in the country! I wanted to let you all know what I've been working on and get your opinion.
You might have noticed the surge in minimalist music these days? Minimal is just what it says - it may have only one or two instruments, maybe a few. But, it is NOT the full blown, over produced, type of thing that is so common today. This type of music is what our grandparents used to play on the front porch when they only had radios to listen to and not Any recordings. Some may not have even been able to afford a radio!
This type of music has been made popular by bands like the Lumineers (you can probably find plenty of artists on on #1 that make this type of sound). Personally I LOVE it, and hope we get more of it. Back to the roots of music!
Some of you may know that I write jingles and songs for film, and have had some success in that area. Minimalist music is popular here too. You may notice it in ads on TV etc. Here is a jingle I just did that follows that formula. I think it would be good for any advertiser that is wanting to highlight Love, family, and good ol fashion values. Please take a moment and listen to the 30 second clip and give me your thoughts on it. I call it "I'll Be There":
I also just completed a minimal version of the Elvis classic "Kentucky Rain" for an outfit that was looking for a minimal version for film. I hope they use it!
I've always loved that tune written by the late great Eddie Rabbit! You can listen to several other of my tunes and jingles at broadjam above. (If the link gets messed up let me know and I'll send you there by another route).
Finally I wanted to share a song that we just remixed. We added some guitar and piano to. While it would not fall under the minimalist genre, it is not too overdone by any standards. I hope you enjoy it and please let me know what you think.
Have a Great Day and Week!!!
Thanks again for listening to my tunes! I've been getting a lot of good feedback on my song "If You Don't Want Me". Maybe that is the song you first heard of mine? It is currently #6 in the US! Please share it with your social networks and let's see if we can get it back to #1.
I had been working for some time to get the CLEAN studio version of this tune, and I finally was able to recover it from a DAT tape! You can hear that version now and get a copy if you like at:

Have a GREAT day and thanks again for listening to my music.
I recorded vocals for a Sort of Country - Rock tune this week. It was fun, I got paid to do it, and I really like the song (otherwise I would not sing on it).
It is a tune called "One Dance" and covers a subject many can relate to about asking a girl to dance. I think it could be a hit. They will be pitching it o artists and film. So if you hear someone else singing it down the road - remember you heard the Rough Cut Demo here first.
Check it out and let me know what you think. It is on my FaceBook page. Please like that page while you are there and look for "One Dance" (top post on the page):
I hope you are having a Great weekend!!! Thanks again for listening to my tunes! We have some great songs coming - including a clean studio version of "If You Don't Want Me" Stay tuned.
